I just saw this scene, and I can honestly say that this scene.... made me happy. Seriously, I didn't mind Lana in the first few seasons, and now, I'm about tired of her. @oceanic815wannabe Y'know, they could. Smallville is just another DC Hypertime reality (I guess now one of the 52 Earths.) Things don't have to go just like in the comics. Smallville's just been the gist of the Superman legend anyway. And so much has happened early (Lex and Clark being enemies, the Justice League, heroes and villains being slightly different.

I'd like to see the series end with Lana back and them together. Their on and off relationship made me want to see them make it.

exactly. I totally agree. The producers say in the end the show will line up with the mythology, but that just isn't a good idea. People who rely heavily on comics and mythology usually hate Smallvile anyways. Season 10 has many guest starts, inlcuding braniac, and jonathan Kent. The fourth episode is also called homecoming. Let's hope they have been reading our comments an forum pages. i need a season one type smallville epsidoe.

I haven't seen any of Season 8 yet, but My guess is Chloe has the power of the Phoenix? Lois and Clark will be great, that's a fun relationship. Jimmy is an excellent addition, I'm gutted Lex won't be in there as much, he was supreme in 7, his progression from him at the beginning to now, is more interesting that Clarks progression. Big shame there. I love the Green Arrow, other super hero stuff. Love to see a young Bruce Wayne.

Lana is incredibly annoying and has been for years, thank god her whispering acting is going. She makes the show so boring. She has no personality, and I think what we've seen in season 7, is a realisation on Clarks behalf, that Lana isn't actually the one for him. His reaction to a future without him? Lana marrying the french guy, he was truely happy, their is love there, but he's not in love with her. She of course will always pine after Clark, but shes a nobody, who cares.
