As for the pickles. You probably have a can opener. It has a hook you can insert under the lid of a jar and gently lift it up until you hear a pop. Do not go to far or you punch a hole in the lid.

My tip for the (very amusing) pickle jar situation: try tapping (or bashing...) the edge of the lid against the ground. This sometimes loosens it enough so that you can open it. I don't have much arm strength so I often have to resort to plan B which is calling for help from whoever I'm with lol!
i have one little question and you can choose not to answer it but I was wondering about your relationship with your girlfriend and how you both adjust to the constant changes in your appearance. Ans i agree with you, you can only work with what you have and you are working your very well..
