  • My son is 18, we have an ongoing discussion... If you could have the talent of one or the other, who would you choose..Mark Knopfler or David Ruffin. He chooses Knopfler.

  • doesn't this epitomize one of this worlds great song writer/guitarists

  • Great song!

  • Mark Knopfler´s music from the early days of Dire Straits to this day in 2011 beautifully tells the story of the maturing of a human being. From wild days of youth and being a guitar hero to more serene and settled down excistence. Not everybody can see and appreciate this, some people want to stay in their days of youth forever. Mark´s career is a beautiful one, I think. And this song is absolutely touching.

  • He is inspired by God !!!!

  • A masterpiece!!

  • Once again, Mark Knofler has been inspired by his Celtic roots og det er ikke så ringe endda, I like it <3.

  • Each new album he releases has a more pronounced Celtic sound and feel to it. The moods in his songs are quite consistent throughout, and yet he continues to rearrange each song, breathing an individuality into each and every one.

  • Jesus Christ bless Brother mark and his family, living and deceased..... Stay strong folks and pray and work for peace

  • Love that song, it nearly made my cry when I heard it live in concert ...

  • Simply a masterpiece. Going to be the best song of his next album, is incredible.

  • This is a really good song. Strong Melody and the pipes/flute create a nice sailing atmosphere. Looking forward to the studio recording of it with more distinguishable words and vocals.
