  • Awesome song, I disagree with Mr Naveejani this brilliant - due to faster dholki & jankar. Talat Aziz matches the music. I have the original one & othe t they are great. Sadly, this one has been underated too much. Well done & thanks adhirasonali. I have played on BCR RADIO 103.1fm, UK, many times! Matloub Husayn-Ali-Khan.

  • Good effort! In my view it cannot beat the one by Shafqat Amanat ali. This one has a too much fast dholki and jhankar.

  • this was the first version of this legendary song that I heard when I was a kid. After I came in touch with technology in my teens, I vehemently searched for the song and finally found it... :) there's an unparalleled magical trance with which Aziz has re-painted this gem of a song.

  • good gazal

  • loved it....

  • SIMPLY TOTALLY AWESOME PIECE. The original version of this ghazal was sung by Mehndi Hasan in film Saiqa. Talat Aziz has done a fabulous justice to this evergreen ghazal. Every statement is sung so intensely and deeply that the mind and heart are forced to drown in melancholy. Sonali, thank you very much for uploading this track from Aziz's Finest album! You're adored for this :)
