Based purely on outcome this guy should've been second and Nobuyuki Tsujii win solely. Technically they are equal, the amount of wrong notes is quite the same if you judge by that.

Look at the beginnig of the vidoe when the camera moved from left to right. Imagine yourself performing in front of those many people. It was such a scary experience, yet all these competitors played as if they were playing at home with no audiences. They are very remarkable human beings....play piano at the highest quality in front of judges, audiences...etc.. AMAZING...

I'll be honest and say I'm not a fan of the facial expressions. But there is no doubting that he is technically the most impressive of the other contestants this year. That Spanish Rhapsody was quite stunning.
