The raw punk was born in the 70's by few bands such as the pistols gbh black flag dead kennedys doa, etc etc... then many other bands appear with other kinds of interpretation of the punk music. This type of punk rock songs can be reffer as skate-punk or punk-hardcore, that is a style that creates a bridge between punk rock and melodic hardcore. Like metal, rock and hardcore, punk has many sub-styles.
