That exhaust setup sounds amazing, a lot of grunt but not too tinny or poppy. By the way, is that an Orthodox church in the back left of the shot? I'm a history/religious buff as well as a gearhead.
im sure it would sound pretty good. These are a straight through muffler design. A lot of times Tone is lost with the Straight through but Magnaflows seem to have tone to their Straight through design, so i would think it would sound prettry good.
you know i really am not sure on that. Call magnaflow and ask them. The mufflers that came with my Catback are 2.5Inch openings. I would think they would still fit though becuase many people just swap out the mufflers. But you will have to get them welded up to the stock catback though i think. not really sure on the V6 models. id just call magnaflow and see what they say. im not 100% sure.
dont just switch the muffler. save up and get duals. you wont regret it. the only "kit" that magnaflow makes for the v6 is a dual exhaust that uses magnapacks but it uses the stock y-pipe so it isnt a true dual exhaust. my Magnaflow exhaust is the kit made for the Mach 1, i had an exhaust shop cut and weld the kit to my stock exhaust.i have true duals with no crossover pipe. so if you get magnaflow, get a matching O/R H-pipe because it will be quiet if you keep the stock cats.
I have the same set up on my 04 GT. I just added the o/r h a few weeks ago & I haven't stopped smiling! At first I thought I wanted to go w/ Flows, but I'm glad I picked the magnapacks. The only thing I'm not totally crazy about is the popping sound at WOT, but it sounds great otherwise.
yeah i love mine as well. I was actually thinking about Flows too but everyone here has Flows on their mustang and i wanted to be different. Couldnt be more happy. plus these are way louder then flows.
sure, that would be awesome. it's unfortunate that they don't make more systems than just the ones on the Mustangs and Z06s, because the sound is phenomenal.

well its definitly louder inside then my flowtechs were. However with the Magnapacks there is no Drone and with the afterburners there was a huge Drone. But yes its pretty loud inside the car even with the window rolled up. If you dont like it loud then you might not like magnapack. To me they are tollerable but i like my exhaust loud so to me its no problem. What are you looking for in an exhaust? Do you want it loud, or somewhat loud.
Ill tell you what. its snowing this whole week in michigan but this saturday is suppose to be nice. So if it is ill make a video of the interior if you would like. Any more questions feel free to ask.

ehh, not horrible. But it's there. Going 70 at 2,000RPM mostly. Driving around town isn't bad at all if you ask me. More just on the highway.

Good choice. I swapped out my flows for a set of $15 Cherry Bomb glasspacks and couldn't be happier to get rid of that drone.

yeah i as well hate it when the camera is right under the exhaust. It's obviously too loud for the camera when all you hear is spitting speakers.

i have to ask... which mufflers do you prefer? the afterburner mufflers, or the magnapacks? i personally like the magnapacks, but that is just me.

I prefer the Magnapacks by a landslide. They are much deeper then the afterburners and much much louder.
