Blackout449, you seriously can't be any more stupid than you are now. Note that the clip with the Macbook is a different clip than the actual microwave video; they are separated by titles. Go figure.
Pure curisoty when I was really little. When I was six I figured out microwaves where not a normal applaince soI microwaved my first light bulb back then.
greatestsongsofLIFE, look it up. The Internet has been around that long and lastly I used this Mac book pro to convert the tapes. This is not a computer from 1991.
@greatestsongsofLIFE The Internet was thought about much earlier than 1991, it was originally made for the military to communicate across Earth in like the 1960's, it wasn't made worldwide until 1990.
And the first part showing the MacBook isn't from 1991, it's the Microwave part from 1991, hes just showing that he found the equipment used in 1991 next to the MacBook.
@greatestsongsofLIFE web was born in 1960's. Camera quality is high because he filmed an intro before he started to convert videos. It is a new recording.
juanviperea, In my case, It was actaully my mom at the time was the first in our family to find out about it. It was a year or two before 1991. She came down the stairs before dinner & explained it to my dad, my brother & me. She said we could look up anything on it. At the time ISPs were the way to go. I was one of the first AOL members & at the time we used AOL browser. It got really much better after AOL 1.3, Apple then came out with "Global Village" which later failed.
I apreciate that Microwavefan111. Frequently when people learn more about the history of the show they end up liking it. Before Jpizzle's more mainstream microwaving show version came along much later, I was known as thee "Microwave Guru" on Youtube. People liked it because of the artistic & creative nature of the show, but it later got obscured by the newer show. Still my show has a goal of atleast 1000 microwaving episodes total and I love bringing microwaving viewing pleasure to all.
dOvetastic: It's humor actually. ShaneDawsonTV's and Fred's videos contain a lot of humor. Humor is a factor to consider when people are subscribing to channels.
I don't know how much of this I can believe, we should all take what we see on the web with a grain of sault, how can we be absolutely certain this is even real? How do we know for sure this video was even recorded in 1991?
Lachlant1984, I have the original 8mm tape. Any expert can analyze the tape to verify it. It's a magnetic based media & an analog recording long before digital video came about and was more affordable to the public. Dating it would be easy by an expert. It's done all the time in the recording history.
| _T Oh that brought a tear to my eye. Beautiful. This was the best show ever, so simple yet it displays the origins of the greatest microwave operator this world has ever seen. There are no bounds to which you can't overcome. My hero Mr. Dovetastic the founder of modern microwaving as we know it.
Thankyou! It is has been almost thirty years I have been microwaving now Microwavefan111. I microwaved my first light bulb when I was six years old in 1980.
ManEatingLunchBox: You can sh*t out JPizzle all you want. I don't like him. It's much like AVGN's Bugs Bunny Birthday Blowout episode, where the Nerd was sh*tting out all over Bugs Bunny.
Awesome. 2 questions though... In 1991, how did you get the video off of the tape and onto a computer. And in 1991, i didn't know the internet was very common and i didn't think that it was capable of video...
psychoclown420, I used a Maranz convertor at the time. They taught us how to use the complicated device in class and I mastered it pretty good. You are also right, the web was very young. You could bit stream from one computer to another however viewers had to queue up on the server. The resolution was 16 color in a very tiny format but it appeared big enough on the screen as most monitors were VGA at best. Monochrome was still common and the best macs were Quadras.
clam down they r gonna keep popular stuff becasue it makes them money and u r saying anybody who uploads videos of them microwaving stuff they should be removed
Thankyou magnetique12! The very first thing I ever microwaved was in 1980 and it was a lightbulb when I was six years old.
The first microwaving recordings was VHS 1988 in monochrome. There was seven recorded microwaving then but those have still never been found. One of them was microwaving a can of spray paint at the time.
The earliest in color were these 8mm from 1991 luckily found and restored.
all u people need is an adapter for a tape to whatever the fucking port u have and the right software and u can convert tapes.
