@Ammaculate44 No these are the clips from PSX version of the game. The DS version have them too. There is no movie to my knowledge though there is a 20 minute long pointless OVA.

FMVs suck for the same reason that its better to have shitty graphics with consistent frame-rate, than great graphics with occassional chop. You can't immersive yourself if there are moments that remind you that you are playing a game, and not simply looking through a window into another world. I'd rather have scripted sequences that are entirely made with in-game graphics than have these cheesy FMVs giving you the same information at different angles.
i never played the DS version but it looks pretty good :) reminded me so much of dragonball z and even a little of pokemon rofl. ahh good times :P chrono trigger is such a good game :)
They should've made the entire game as an anime with fillers and also chrono's revival and the final battle with lavos. that would be awesome. i'd definitely watch it
"Chrono" is the root word of chronological, which is the irony of the game. (that the main character's name has the same pronunciation of the Latin for "time" which, in English, the name of the game is "Time Trigger". I prefer Chrono Trigger, anyway. It is NOT Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts has the kid w/ the spiky BROWN hair, not red hair. Sora is not Chrono and Chrono is not Sora. Kingdom Hearts contains crappy Disney Characters, while Chrono Trigger came out nearly 10 years before Kingdom Hearts did and is far more original than Kingdom Hearts. I don't think the Great Dish is an item; when the Chief says he is researching for a name for the Dish, when you go to present Guardia, there is a super dish called "Chrono's Dish" or sth like that.
To heal Lucca's mother you must finish the Fiona sidequest, when the party is sleeping Lucca goes to the moment her mother looses her feet. You must quickly run to the machine and type L, A, R, A. That will make the machine stop.
Do anyone know how to heal feet of Lucca's mother? And also the Great Dish of Chief in Medieval Time? I bet there would be great items to be rewarded.
Where in any plain of existance do j-pop and talent belong in the same statement without "none" or "no"? Also, check out the FF5 if you want to talk about Square making anything compliment-worthy outside the SNES. Chrono Trigger is a great game, but there's not enough cutscenes to make an AMV of this length and it not be lame or pointless, so the "this is boring" and comments like that kinda make sense if you conside any CT fan has seen all of those clips a thousand times each.

Oh many i remembered when this game first came out for the snes. everyone was drooling over it, i beat this game so much n got everything and that was life for me when i was 15 ehehe. fun azz game n still is now a days.
Yes, there are, since it's the same game. Not only is there as many endings as in the snes-version, there are even animated cutscenes(as you can see). But the only ending with cutscenes is the "real" ending though.
There's more than one with an anime-ish ending. There's the long one, with the wedding scene and Kid (from Chrono Cross) and a second anime ending, which shows the fall of the kingdom later on, the loss of the Masamune and the rise of the Empire that reigns during Cross.
Chrono looks much like goku b/c they got akira toriyama, the same guy that did the dragon ball and dragon ball z manga, to do the artwork for these chrono trigger animated sequences created for the PSX version. If I'm not mistaken, it also came with a final fantasy game, I'm not sure which one.
Hikari just doesn't work in a chrono trigger amv. :/ It just feels weird in my opinion. Sorry for being so negative. I like the song but not for an amv.

for some reason, squaresoft has a thing for clocks and time. they stop final fantasy at 12, announcing that is is the last final fantasy, make the chrono(time) series, and each final fantasy has some sort of clock event in it, not just like "you see the clock, and it is this fuckin time," but an actual event, like spin the clock hands, or wind the clock to a certain time, or some wacky shit like that. w t f is up with that?

Hikari just doesn't work in a chrono trigger amv. :/ It just feels weird in my opinion. Sorry for being so negative. I like the song but not for an amv.

for some reason, squaresoft has a thing for clocks and time. they stop final fantasy at 12, announcing that is is the last final fantasy, make the chrono(time) series, and each final fantasy has some sort of clock event in it, not just like "you see the clock, and it is this fuckin time," but an actual event, like spin the clock hands, or wind the clock to a certain time, or some wacky shit like that. w t f is up with that?
