Ok lets say I was going to make a sprite animation in pivot but I got Adobe Flash CS4. All my sprites are already cut out. How to I use and Import them all?

my symbol does not preform the animation, it just moves.

This is an excellent tutorial, however you need to slow down a tad. 'Though I suppose that's what the pause and play buttons are for.

try to make a new flash file...

if that don't work... try to just edit the sprite sheet images outside flash and bring to the library only the ones you need

@Tuzze2 Go get photoshop or fireworks. Paint makes them flip. I dont know why.

wow dude you did it the long way -.- you could of just traced bitmap and erace all the blue in flash.

ya... i realized that, however my flash always freezes when i try to do image edits in it....

yea mine to but i still do it though and i dont have adobe fireworks but the way to reduce a chance of freezing is to edit the pic with paint and make it smaller like only the sprites that u want

hi, er sorry to be a pain but from about 4.23 the pointer seems to move to fast for the screen capturing tool to catch up so you cant really see what you are doing, any chance you could slow it down abit somehow?

sorry, when i was recording i thought the screen capture awas keeping up. I can't slow it down, but at 4:23... I am draggin the movie clip from the library to the stage...

as you may already know youtube videos use flashplayer therefore if you can see the videos here u should be able to see it once you embed it...

i don't know if you can get transparent background with MS Paint.... there are alternative freeware and shareware programs you can use. I am pretty sure MS Paint won't work... but I am not certain, Try searching it up on google...

its really good but you could just cut a moving picture of it from somewhere else and add it in programs that your using

you can...its just that you can make more custom things as not everything that you might want to animate come pre animated... if you like animation... then sprite sheets are teh way to go as you can persoanalize your sprites... pluse you can find sprite sheets more readily than pre-animated sequences....
