A Buyer's Guide to the Sky-Watcher Heritage 76 (3") IYA Dobsonian Telescope

hi, great video! i'm very tempted in puchasing one of these telescopes, i was almost at the point of ordering it until i came across the Celestron Firstscope which is roughly the same price, has similar specs and even comes with a similar tribute to the pioneers on the body. Could you give an opinion on this as i'm quite confused now. Thanks.

Thanks, the Celestron is supplied with two simple Huygens type eyepieces. They are much cheaper to make and greatly inferior to the two Super MA type supplied with the Sky Watcher. The Huygens have narrower field of view and poor colour correction by comparison. The basic version of the Celestron 76 is not supplied with a finder a more expensive deluxe version must be purchased to get this.
