@Tech4theWin Yes and no, if you have a high enchantment skill (and all perks) yes because you can appy the enchantment to all items you get with grand (or better) soul gems to achieve much better affects. i also helps to have high blacksmith skills in order to get glass,ebony and daedric armor to enchant. excuse a few spelling diffrances im british :p

Anyone know if its possible to upgrade Dawnbreaker to legendary? I have 100 smiting, bracers that add 15% to upgrades and a lot of blacksmiths potions and I still can only get Dawnbreaker to epic. Is it possible to make it legendary?

@Crimtoad In the sense Duggo1101 is meaning, they're right. It's not rare, because all you need to do in order to get it is go to the shrine and start the quests. If it was rare, it would be difficult to get and you would need to be lucky to find it. The difference with it being unique is that there is no other like it in the game, but its still straightforward to get a hold of.

Daedric and Dragon stuff can be found in chests but it's very, very rare. The only way to get a full set is to smith it.

I can increase items 100% better. I have fortify smithing on like all equippable items (25% better gauntlets, 25% better necklace, 25% better ring, 25% better platebody and 25% boots). I also used the potion to create 1 handed items 40% better for 30 seconds. That's about 165% better, you do the math >.<

I understand how to get the overpowered upgrade (which I might just use to make the cooler weapons practical later on in the game, using it to one-hit everything would make it a little dull for me) but is it possible to add a second enchantment to the daedric artifacts? Just to beef up the fire attack on it.

P.S. with the two-copies glitch, do you or the enemy have to hit it with the firestorm scroll? The wiki's grammar was muddled so I couldn't work it out.

Cant beat my daedric sword with one handed strike of 293 plus 52 fire damage & 52 shock damage, thats just in one swing.

You need level 100 smithing, alchemy and enchanting.

First create enchanted cloths that boost your alchemy by 25% each item, equip the clothes. Now make both smithing & enchanting potions that boosts these perks by 50%, now use enchanting potion to make enchanted cloths that will increase your smithing by 37% each item.

Create a daedric sword with the smithing clothes and the +50% smithing potion, this will make a sword with about 109 damage.

Now enchant your combat armour with one handed +25% including your ring and pendant.

This will give you about 293 damage per swing combined with one handed upgrades in the level up screen, now just add fire & shock damage and you have a very powerful 397 points of damage per swing one handed sword. :)

@aclock2 You can attack very fast with a mace. Directly after a power swing, repeatedly tap the attack button -- you'll deal two quick, successive swings, regardless of weapon speed. Directly after you see the first swing, hold the attack button down for another quick strike. Thus is the extremely rapid, three-hit rotation that lasts as long as your stamina.

Trust me; maces are better in most cases.

@Elena9525 I've used that Malog Bal for age boy. It's better against touch opponents with heavy armor but against mage or archer it feels very uncomfortable cause they always maneuvering around you. Talking about stamina I think the heavier the weapon is, the more stamina it takes for a swing, not to mention swords generally have longer reach. Still, I think if you are shield-heavy armor then a mace or an axe is a good choice. But sword is better for dual wielding or spell sword.

@aclock2 Just use Daedric weapons. :3 They're better than either Dawnbreaker or the mace you mentioned, and by far -- even without enchantments. And, smithing is probably the easiest and fastest skill to level in Skyrim. Anyway, I don't know about spell swords -- but I tend to one-shot most things with my Daedric mace on Adept difficulty, considering it does a flat 153 damage. >:) I haven't had any trouble killing mages or otherwise ranged opponents, either.

@Elena9525 Lol, at adept difficulty I can one shot ancient dragon with my dual wielding. Damage output higher than 300. The only trouble is the enemy come in with a group of 4-5 arch mages who spray spell like mad at me. I can one shot each of them but not before they almost kill me as Magic ignore armor rating. And when it comes to higher difficulty, they maneuver around like drug users and you sometimes can't one shot them, making mace life tough.

Ik zelf zou het fantastisch vinden als ik Iron armour zou kunnen dragen op een erg hoge lvl.
