  • Mad foreigners jealous they can never put up such great olympics opening and their countries are being bought by china. Nothing u can do hahha cry me a river bitches lololol

  • This is the 3rd Olympics to be held at a communist state

  • It would be very hard for chinese children to sing in Greek. Excellent effort and outcome!!!

  • use your brain and eyes to figure out information, not listenning to your propaganda news media machines. Uigur girl in the group is distinctive enough to be telled from other ethnic groups. you are fed with lies by your media.

  • e.g."lip-singing" girl... come on, when the title list displaced on bird nest main LCD had indicated, it was songed by another girl(due to accident she lost her teeth), so had to be performed by red dress girl. when NBC tried to save buget, used pre-recorded foot - print fireworks as live show, in order to let camera crews concentrate on main performace, , those propaganda machines blamed it as Fake. Damn.

  • One World One Dream

  • I'm afraid I have to disagree with you. The fact that Chinese performed the Olympic Hymn in Greek is something more valuable than the gold of all the world.

After all the Hymn says it clearly :

ARXAIO PNEYMA ATHANATO, KATHE LAOS : Ancient Immortal Spirit, Every Nation.

A big hug, a bigger kiss and a huge Thanks to the Chinese <3

  • You are not the one that can reject the words of Kostis Palamas.

  • how dare you say that! It's my choir, my choir!

  • why?

  • Why?

  • AAAAAAA!!!goosebumps all over!!!!!!!!!!telioi!!excellent!i am surprised of how well they sung in greek!!bravo!!

  • Yeah, the children's chorus that sings each Olympic anthem has been trained since they were young to do so.

  • those soldiers carrying the flag look like robots

  • its a flag march, they are suppose to look the same. have you seen a march where honor guards swing their arms and legs wildly and walk like they are drunk? i dont think so

  • no. but i don't study flag marches religiously. most of the time they look like humans.

it was actually a compliment for their style and precision.

good luck with your flag march inspecting career.

  • ah well, I just see a lot of military marches and parades since i live like right next to a huge base

  • true.

  • by the way, it was the best olympic games ever.

  • What I meant is that the chinese children sang the olympic anthem that is in greek very very well. and I congrat them since I´ve never heard something like that before.

  • I really like the way the olympic anthem sounds on this little chinese children. I like this vesrion so much.

    congrats!!!!!

I would like to learn chinese

do you think it is hard??????

  • Hi! The lyrics of the Olympic Anthem is greek, not chinese.

Yes, I think chinese is hard, but not impossible.

  • @laha250484 My favorite rendition of the Olympic Anthem is the one at the Olympics that followed this, in Vancouver, which was performed by Measha Brueggergosman during the opening ceremony. I prefer that rendition better than this one, though it was performed in English and French, to reflect Canada's official languages.

  • proud to be greek

  • I wanna learn Greek

  • i m greek i m feel pround to hear the hymn in greek.they do excelent job

  • this sounds so awesome

the mood during this was so awesome
