  • It's really like something out of mythology. I mean, really, if you show some kid the movie Phantom of the Opera from 1925, point her out and say ''Would you believe this woman is STILL alive?'' they would think you're crazy. It's true though, and the fact that she still seems to be doing well, with a great support network around her, makes her truly blessed. She's one of the very last links to the Golden Age of entertainment, a living gem.

  • what a great living link to the silent era! i love the 20s and the cars clothes music etc of that era. . anyone else feel the same -- drop me a note!

  • She still has that beautiful smile and great sense of humor, I enjoy taking her to concerts and dinner whenever I can. We are planning a big birthday party for her 100th. She is all excited about it.
