Mags, sprag clutch, low rotor warning checks... Na, you're too cool for those huh? Good thing nothing happened, the NTSB would have had a perfect example of how not to start up.
That's how accidents happen...he started that up way too quick and should have loaded the pax prior to starting. The lift was very sloppy considering they're right next to a main road, it's all about taking things slowly, that guy took off like he was on speed.
I visited this company while on holiday and after a flight in the R44 I came back home to the UK and passed my PPl in the R22, now I fly my friends around Wales and the Midlands, awsome.

I would never get onboard on that little flying machine ever. We have so many options to avoid that. My opinion. Piston motor, no way. But is nice to imagine how many people can afford it, that's nice. tks for posting.

How about pre takeoff checks?? No magneto checks? Needle separations? Every flight i do this again, when i startup the engine. Just about safety..

Not a very safe procedure having a passenger have a hat on their head while boarding a helicopter...?

Robinson is actually testing the R66, which is basically a turbine powered r44.
rotarywinboy 3 years ago
True the whole point of the robinson line of heli's is to keep the cost as low as posible.
miniheli 4 years ago
and much more expensive which would defeat half of the point of the R44
Dustoffam 4 years ago
having a turbine engine on a robinson would be much better
