ok, so heres my theory on this. you know how the punk/emo culture all started like with one band, and people liked it (well i dont listen to punk/emo but...) so other bands followed. now, its the same thing with primus. primus started this whole weird slap bar chord shit and people really fucking liked it. but now everytime a band plays stuff remotely close to the whole "primus" genre, people accuse them of being wayy to much like primus. primus created a genre, let it flow everybody.
