I don't know if you've modified it with foil yet but I think one of those throw away aluminum turkey roaster would work well to focus the light. Just keep in mind how hot these lamps can get. They've been know to start curtain fires.
That was a good bit of pole dancing LOL!! I HATE the smell of duct tape...but it's the only thing keeping my laptop from falling apart right now, seriously. Nice makeshift spot light. I need a spot light but I don't have that kind of lamp. And is that a real gun on your table? OMG just realized, you have a flip camera *cries* I wanted one so badly. I told my boyfriend to get me one for christmas but obviously, he never did...cause he never gets me anything. I need to get me one, tho.

I've always wanted a pellet gun. Funny thing about you and AcadieNow suggesting I get a new boyfriend because, I've been considering it. Not due to the money aspect, I'm not a gold digger, but for other reasons. :P
