Old Frankfort Pike is about the most gorgeous 20 mile stretch of road in the whole country. Unfortunately, this video is completely off season with the trees and doesn't do it justice...but I ADORE the idea and the music. Thanks for the post!

You need a widescreen video of this drive and do it when the trees are full to get a fuller appreciation!! But nothing beats the real thing. Thanks for posting it!

What are the road numbers you were one? I would like to drive down some of these myself when I drive to KY this summer.

Also, GREAT version of "The Blues" but I am sure this isn't Artie Shaw's original version. Can you tell me how to find this same track? I actually like this version better than the original!

The routes are KY 1685 and KY 62. KY 1685 will go to Frankfort and KY 62 will head toward Midway and Versailles.
