how much power can you put through a stock sr20det bottom end, and if i want to run big power obviously id need forged rods and pistons but would it need re sleeving ? thanks.
@Streckkoden Of course it sounds angry, either it has a shitty clutch or he is clutch kicking the shit out of it, GT35R is quite a small turbo compared to other vehicles I've raced, currently driving a T88-34D RX7 and my mates GT35R runs out of puff once we start getting around 120~mph very easy to pull ahead for me at that point.
Nice car dude none the less, would be mean around a racetrack, i'm more drag orientated.
@Parag0n wtf , 47r sr . bet i was spooling with nitrous ... 35r on 2liters have very very short powerbands . 20psi around 5000rpm . that means its not tiny when it adds over 250% of the engines cfm and supports 500whp easily on pump gas and meth injection . but when you compared 60mm compressor wheel 35r to a 80mm 47r yeah its smaller but the stock turbo is only like 40mm . just read a compressor chart and you will understand .
@Parag0n you're dumb. as you can see, the car he's driving on the street isn't a race car. use your fucking head. a gt35r isn't tiny at all for this motor.
@joe645733 It's a small midframe turbo charger, it's not an amazing turbo and if this guy didn't have a screamer pipe you would barely hear it.
Clutch is going as well, sounds like a week left in it.
The Garrett GTX35R however, now that is a turbo, same size but rated up to 800~hp billet housing and CHRA, Garrett finally catching up to Borg Warner and Precision turbos.
@Red97Avenger I know charts mate, I only prefer larger turbos, a GT42R would be the smallest turbo I would use on my 13B.
@Parag0n i agree with you that it's a small turbo in general, but for a car that weighs less than 3,000lbs...and a turbo that can make 600whp would be fine for a street car.
@Parag0n yah on a rotary it may be small but on a 4cyl 2.0 thats far from small, as for the clutch it was brand new and is still holding well to this day
saw king kullen nice lol
