don't worry it took me soo long to think of an idea that i loved and that i thought would work but it comes together in the end.

just listen to heaps of different songs, watch short films and read short stories for inspiration. hell my idea came from me scanning my room and lying to my mum that my video was going to be about shoes lol.

i dunno what i got for the video but my final drama mark, including my gp and essays was 82. I got 25/30 for my video for trials though.

I too am starting year 12, and chose to make a video drama for my IP. That is a really interesting view that you took for your video, but it is interesting and different! Loved it! You will have to tell us what your final mark ends up being!

Hey

Doing a video is heaps of fun, just make sure you have enough time to film everything including reshoots.

Storyboard everything...it's really time consuming but worth it. I didn't storyboard mine...I just had a vision in my head for the final product and I made stuff up as I went along. Very bad idea lol...thats why some bits jump and don't really make sense.

Use reliable actors, my friend pulled out the day before we were supposed to be filming lol

And yeah just basically give yourself plenty of time. And think of an idea you love that why you'll have lots of fun with it and it will be the best it can be.

Oh and keep your logbook up to date lol (including your GP) I ended up doing more then half of my logbook the week before it was due (whoops lol).
