...oops, I mean, when McClane shot down a helicopter with a flamethrower in Die Hard? To even get to this point, there was an irritating maze in stage 2 where you had to take the right doors to pass, and ugh...
i remember turbo grafix and jaguar from atari and the neo geo were the "holy grails" of gaming back in the early/mid 90s.....not so much for thier tech but for their price tags......
@pawel1818 guess they skipped the final boss against Hans because Nichibutsu (the developer) did not have enough room on the HuCard to put in the true final boss, so they decided to have a FBI helicopter be the last boss.
This may have better graphics than the original NES version, but at least that version (sucky as it was) was about as faithful to the movie as you could get from an 8 bit game back then. Quite rare.
So, their devs get more respect from me in that they followed the source material.
im not really getting a die hard vibe from this. It looks okay, just..the stage clear music makes it seem way too happy like sonic or something. I'm not judging the game from this, just saying it doesn't really feel like die hard. wtf at the helicopter being the boss too, McClane just fired a few shots at it to get the hostages to clear out. Why the FREAKING HELL did they skip Hans?! He was, you know, the actual boss?
Still, 16-bit Ode to Joy as the ending theme ftw.

I can't get past that building maze stage....

The path is:
Left door,
2nd door,
Right door,
2nd door,
Right,
3rd door.
I have a video walkthrough of the game on my channel if you want to check it out.
