Could you be kind enough to tell me the brand and model of that chair you are using. It seems very confortable, and I am wondering if it could fit into my Adventure Island. Nice video, by the way.
Im just starting to go offshore kayak fishing i do alot of inshore for bass and such. Im looking for a good rod and reel thats under 150. what test pound line should i get?
Great Video, Stopped driving my 25' Hydrosport and started pladdling out 2miles to our stripped bass spot here in new England. Wack my two keepers and paddle back. LOVE IT!!!!
@ER1540 My rocket launcher is custom made with pvc pipe and Scotty rod holders. It is not hard to put something together. I am working on a new kayak for offshore. It is the Native Mariner 12.5 and has a peddle drive. Cool kayak, hope to have some video up as soon as the seas calm down. The seas have been up for a long time.
@ER1540 The fish finder is a Humminbird Matrix 67 with GPS. I have used it for many years and put it to the test. It still puts me on the fish and is easy to use. Humminbird makes one now for kayaks. It is the 385ci combo kayak kit with GPS. Worth checking out. The Penn Torque 100 is a great live bait reel for catching Big snook, tarpon and black tip sharks. I also use it to cast large plugs for Big snook.
@prayot2000 I am using Shulure, in the 4 to 7 oz. size as well as the 1.1/4 oz TerrorEyz. Any big plug will work on the troll out and on the way back in.
Hey I will be down the weekend of 13-15 Mar visiting my folks. Bringing my Hobie Revo, will you be going out any day during that time. Would love to head out and catch some fish, getting bored of getting skunk in S. carolina.

@LessThan3able Try the Penn Sargus 6000 with 30 lb. braid. Match it with a Ugly Stick Jigging rod and you should be in the price range.

I have the Conquer 7000 on a Penn Torque Jigging rod, TJ3080S66.
It is a great match. Light weight with a lot of power. I am very happy with the set up.

Brilliant video! I think it's great how you show your gear and tell us about it!
How has the captiva 7000 been so far?
Am thinking about getting either the captiva 7000 or saragosa 8000.
