I just totally LOVED to see jabba (I didn't use capital letter on purpose) die strangled. When I saw that scene, I wished I was there..... to kill him.
When I was little, I always use to pretend it was Oola strangling Jabba, not Leia. Poor Oola. :( She was one of my favorites yet she had such a small, small part. It makes me even sadder knowing she was originally going to survive and have a bigger part.
@bammikevandmuska Howw on earth is this dumb? Oola was he best Twi'lek i know besides Aayla Secura, how can you watch poor helpless Twi'leks die and call it dumb? If Oola survived the whole movie would change alittle and i can just imagine Oola surviving and sticking with Luke...
Imagine what Star Wars would have been like if Oola had tagged along with Luke, Han, Chewbacca and the rest of the gang, and helped save Endor. Just imagine...
@Danzigadoo666 It wouldn't have changed the story at all... given she would be Very unlikely to want to go anywhere near fighting again after the time she's had.
@DelphanGruss Well she would still dance with the Ewoks at the end :) You make a good point, but it's kinda cool to picture Oola blasting away at stormtroopers.
@Danzigadoo666 I agree... if she had tagged along... I could see her maybe becoming one of Luke’s first Jedi apprentices. She was trained to be a dancer; maybe she could use that for an advantage because there are fighting moves where it looks like one is dancing.
Oola is gorgeous & I could relate to being chased by a ill willed Jubbathehut.

In the original script Oola was supposed to escape with Luke and the others. Due to time constraints on shooting they had to write those scenes out.
