  • @MrFerrarifreak8 I have a 2012 CC and they compare it to the CLS not the C.... Think about the designs... The CC looks nothing like the MB C class!

  • MOre than jUst LOOks.

  • So a CLS is 31K? He said 4 grand less XD

  • @jacoale He was comparing it with the C lass Mercedes Benz

  • This thing should have led backlights like the passat

  • only if it had a diesel and a 6spd.. then i'd break the bank and Buy one lol

  • @BMan100 EXACTLY! I dont want no gasoline motor!

  • Comfort Coupe? It has 4 doors...lol fail at naming it but this car is sexy.

  • @kirbz01 four dour coupe -__-

  • Damn, that is a tight squeeze for that guy in the back seat...I would feel kind of uncomfortable if my head is touching the roof...

  • I wonder why these didn't sell better then they did, it's such a looker! The only VW I would own

  • watch at 1:56 there talking about easy entry into rear seat and the guy hits his head lol

  • just bought this car. when ever i drive in it i feel like a big time CEO driving around time lol

  • I'm a noob Volkswagen owner, got a 99 Passat wagon. I'm sprung now, I would love to own this car. Very dope!!

  • music sounds like from early 90's

  • This car might not be a good family car because its only fits4 people. The 3.6L V6 is a few seconds faster than the 2.0L Turbo 4 Cylinder.

  • @pjtart mine accommodates 5, you just have to order it without the console in the back seat

  • This car is sexy. There's no other word for it, it's sexy.

  • Only brits and wierdos say Coupe coo-Peh its just faggy say it like a real American and just say coop

  • @MrEggwhites It has 4 doors so its a sedan damnit! I hate the illogical and invented names that are currently fashionable. VW should have named it the Passat LS and been done with it.

  • get the one with a 2.0 turbo..ie:GTI motor..and it's real easy to pull 300hp out of them

  • He pronounces Coupe wrong. That is annoying. It is coo-peh, not coop

  • @svsguru2000 Thats what you get for watching an American program, everyone in this country pronounces things wrong, its the American way.

  • @adamslurch71 In the States that is the proper pronunciation. Thanks for being a cultural bigot though.

  • @TheBlueDogMan Aww a grammar Nazi, how nice it must be to prove that you have no life and need to correct others every chance you get.

  • @svsguru2000 Thanks for playing cultural bigot. In the States, that is the proper pronunciation.

  • Was it just me or the 2011 Hyundai Sonata is a shameless copy of this car?

  • u can have this with 2.0 tdi engine to

  • @vasilacheandrei sadly not in the states.

  • brutal

  • ok this cars engine sound awsome oh..... and front end push???? dis ga be long lol

  • @adamslurch71

Easy man that was a little uncalled for

  • psh fool scandinavian? deutschland baby

  • Lol ever think you'd see the day when a VW ouclasses a Mercedes? And set you back even more money? I'd pay more for the top model CC than a Mercedes any day of the week, love that R32 exhaust note....not something you'd expect on a luxury car....

  • This car kinda look like the Mercedes CLS 55 AMG if you look on the side.

  • they call it a step away from orthodox, sadly, it looks as groundbreaking as a chrysler.

  • Why scandinavian?

    It is german!

  • scandinavian design at its highest!

  • strip the emblems off and throw on some nice rims and I doubt most folks would know anyone driving a VW CC would know it's a VW! But at $40K for the 'luxury' model..even at 280hp, I'd spend my money on a sports car.

  • how come in america the vr6 motor just have 280 bhp and in europe it has 300?

  • smog restrictions? Thats what I would guess

  • whats smog ?

  • smog filters trap the exhaust air and filter out the worst pollutants through a muffler-like device called a catalytic converter, although these do a lot of good and prevent a lot of smog from getting into the air, it causes the engine to work harder, thus not be as powerful. its just like how your a/c system causes your car to not accelerate as fast as it would normally because it has to work harder to turn the a/c pump. hope that explanation helped.

  • ohhhhhhhhhh... ok thanks....so basically what your saying if I lived in the U.S or Canada, and I had one of these I could just change the exhaust and have it go alot faster.....but then i would tune it and make it the most bas ass CC ever...

  • well you could take it off illegally, but you have to pass smog tests every few years, so you would have to put it back on before smog

  • REALLY! if i put an exhaust system on there on any car.. i have to take smog tests!!! WTF!!! thats not cool......and if i dont take it off do i just get a fine or do they pout on a stock exhaust and through away my exhaust and make me pay for it?

  • any car made after 1975 requires a smog test, you keep the catalytic converter on and replace the muffler with a new one. catalytic converters don't make the car any quieter, its just a filter.

  • ohhhh ok thanks.......

  • wow do your home work little one. try coming up to Michigan, we dont give a shit about smog test, do what you want to your car and be happy with it. hell even in california you can change the car, you justt ned dot stay within regulations. its not hard if you know what your doing. and I dont know where you get the 1975, b/c catalytic converters werent on cars till 1976.

  • @adamslurch71 Wrong. Catalytic converters appeared in US autos before 1976.

  • @TheBlueDogMan Ok and..... they were not required equipment before than, so try again.

  • I just drove one of these, very very impressed! I think its very good even at the 27k base model. I am in the market for a 4 door daily driver and im still in my 20s and was just awed by it. I sure wouldnt pay 40k for a v6, im happy with the 4cyl as Im from Honda land. This is a good looking car that looks very hott in person!

  • excellent styling

  • I own the CCVR6. I am completely satisifed with this car as well as its performance. The stares I receive from people are amazing.

  • whoever said it drives numb probably is numb himself... German cars drive and handle very good.

  • Saw one the other day on the road.........usually I love VW, the line is nice, but many parts of the car just reminded me too much of Sibering by Chrysler.

  • I agree the fuel economy is pretty bad.

  • This car is a flop and here's why. It's all style and no substance. The fuel economy sucks for a car this size. As far as 4-door family sedans go, it's impractical because it's cramped and only seats 4. It starts at $27k, the cheapest midsize sedan VW offers. It looks great and I'm sure drives nice. Maybe people shopping for a 3-series, C-class, or similar will consider this car. I like it over those choices. VW needs to get with the program though. They have a bizarre fleet of vehicles.

  • Sales numbers don't lie - and you obviously didn't read them. The car is selling very well for a 'flop'. I drove one today; (and I'm the biggest 5 series BMW freak there is); THIS car is VERY similar in performance to a 535i. Handling is exceptional. VERY intuitive like the BMW. $15/18K less. Also, this car is Front wheel drive. I put the V6 in sport and put my foot in the injectors. It did not behave like a fwd car (unexplained lane changes). I loved it.

  • if i had the money, i'd buy one today!!! i had a '88 jetta for many years & it was awesome; gas mileage was unbelievable.

  • funny you say that the car's a flop. I work for VW and we can't even keep them in stock. I have one as my company car... it's 6 speed 2.0 and has been revo chipped so it's pushing 250 hp/ 300 ft. lbs of torque. Had it for 2 weeks and already have interested buyers!

  • You guys are missing what I said. In my opinion, it's a flop because "it's all style over stubstance." I didn't mean it's a flop because it isn't selling. It looks good. Of course it's going to sell. Some of us just value a car that's actually functional, not just good looking. If it's REALLY functional, some will sacrifice style altogether. I like a balance. This car isn't balanced in this respect. That's what I meant by a "flop".

  • I test drove it. It drives like shit. Very numb.

  • Interesting. Care to elaborate on "numb"? I would expect it drives like the German car it's supposed to be with a firm suspension, tight handling, and stiff, responsive steering.

  • Sure. It was a great disappointment. The suspension was floaty. The steering response was dead going straight and around the bends...the clutch was an absolute bore AND the VR6 versions only come in auto...cant get the tight panoramic roof with a stick...gay.

  • Shocking to hear it's so "numb" as you put it. Do you know if the CC has electric power steering? That would explain the numb steering feel. Definitely surprised to hear it has a floaty ride...from a German car? Well, I've never been too impressed with VW. The engineering is no longevity wonder and the prices are high.

  • I was fucking disgusted. I was going to lease it and then they gave me a list of everything I could not have because I wanted a stick shift. I bought a 2002 Saab 9-5 Aero with a High Output Turbo instead.

  • I understand. I went through the same thing with my '06 Kia Optima. I wanted a stick shift too. But it's only available on the base model. So that means no cruise control and no ABS, which I both really wanted. I found a steal of a deal on a stick shift Optima, so I went with it anyway.

  • When it first came out, it looked... well, too odd. After seeing one up close, gotta say it's a class act. VW's contrast interiors are great looking! Now all I need is $30,000. LOL

  • Saw one on the street for the first time, classy

  • i wish i have one! I love VW the are Unics and have lot of Class

  • real beauty??? it's more like a ugly betty.........lol

  • why no aggressive exhaust??

  • the black one in the commercial looked cool but this one looks boring

  • guy's voice got annoying after a while

  • Why VW dont use any more the VR6 name in their engines.

  • haha poor saps... in europe we get 300hp from the 3,6l V6 that does 0-60 in 5,6 s not 6,1 :D AND MORE IMPORTANTLY we get the 6 speed DSG (double clutch) transmission that shifts in 7 (seven) miliseconds... in contrast the ferrari 599 shifts in 80miliseconds (eighty not eight)

you guys can only get the standard automatic transmission with the old stile torque-converter drivetrain

  • Actually, its a DSG with shift times slowed and slurred (chopped & screwed?) to replicate an automatic. VW doesn't even have a FWD 6-speed automatic. They're all DSGs in the US. I didn't realize I was replying to another of your posts nuc. You must think I'm an a** by now.

  • no i dont mind its actually nice to have a comversation of sorts on the subject :D i am however not sure youre correct on the latter... the DSG hasnt been approved in america and the old passat B5 had a 6speed automatic (al least with the w8 engine in europe)

  • piece of shit. ill take the c class

  • Fuck you retard! VW has much better build quality than those c classes.

  • not only does VW have better bild quality but the CLS merc thats the one in the same class as the CC not the C class is 30k $ more... this morom of a speaker goes on about the C class thats not even in the same category... arsehole

  • sold my bugatti veyron for this. jst lovin it!

  • Nice trolling! Very beliveable!

  • lol troll

  • dude.... really... did you actually have a veyron?? AND you sold it for ONE of these? or 15?

  • you can get the VR6 then... stop your bitchin... to some people the 2,0 l 200hp is enough...

  • wish it fit 5 inside.

    like it lotsss

  • Still 16" wheels? That's so 90s

  • those are 18s.... daytona to be percise... i got the same ones on mine

  • I was referring to the Base 2.0 L model. Listen at 1:43. He clearly says 16" wheels.. 16" wheels even on a base model?

  • actually the base comes with 17" ive checked. its wrong in the review... the base wheels for the 2.0l are 8 J x 17 235/45 R 17 Pheonix aluminum alloys and for the 3,6 l V6 the 8 J x 17 235/45 R 17 Spa aluminum alloys... both of the 18"s the Daytona and the Interlagos wheels are extra

  • fuck the sebring sedan

  • lol

  • like a cls with training wheels

  • At 40K for the All wheel drive and none of the features available on a comparable Audi A4 I will keep my A4 (which I spent $39K)

  • I have the CC Sport (2.0L Turbo). At $27K, it goes nearly as fast as the V6 for nearly $15k more. It's a fabulous car and a real value.

  • yes no doubt if you like this car the I-4 is the way to go, great bang for the buck. i'd step up to a luxo-car maker for 40 k and AWD.

  • and what features would those be? cus im a bit baffled by all of this since in general audi is about 20-30% more expensive than VW... and what engine have you got in your audi? because you can have the AWD in the 2,0l base model CC if you wish...

  • HUGE VALUE for this car

  • what a sound from the VR6 engine

  • sexy car

  • I want one.

  • I bought a CC sport in November for about $25K and love it. At that price I'd say it blows it's competition away in looks and handling. I couldn't be happier.

  • WOULD U RECOMMEND A ALTERNATIVE ?

  • CC Sport, then add on a chip and a cold air intake. About 70+ HP for $900.

  • The back of the car looks like it came from a buick.

  • yeah thats what i thought when i first saw it

  • found a few errors: the base CC comes w/ 17" rims. also, theyre comparing the price to a mercedes C class "$4 thousand less" when it should be compared to a CLS class which is arorund $3k more. Commentator's voice is pretty funny "steeeeeeeep onnnn down to the prrrice is rigggggght"

  • *i meant that the CLS is 30k more

  • is this because we didn't get the scirroco?

  • Very nice, very Benz like too.

  • just bought a vw and had the chance to sit in this car, look under the hood and just toy around while i waited in the vw showroom. its an absolute beauty

  • Could they have picked an uglier color?

$40K for the AWD V6, shhhhhhaaa, right?!?! Infiniti dealer is open people, head that way!

  • omg lmao that is exactly what i was thinking when they said the price lol infiniti rules!

  • Nobody can touch the VQ series motor, the DOHC V6 king! Don't even make me call out the AWD G37 Coupe, yeah, that's what I thought :-/

The Nissan Empire is top in performance among the Japanese 3, and that's coming from a Honda driver.

  • Two words: BMW N54

  • The announcer sounds like the guy that announces the prizes on The Price is Right. I'm just waiting for it to cut to a shot of Bob Barker asking the players to bid on it.

  • i have one beige color i am 1,83 m i sit like a king plenty of space.

  • Spoken like a true modern Republican.

  • Drop-dead gorgeous! I saw this car at the Houston Auto Show this past weekend and fell in love with it. Great leg room inside and has great style. Easily fell in love with this machine. It's a fantastic car and perhaps my all-time favorite Volkswagen. Whomever created this thing should be commended dearly. I wonder how the top-of-the-line model fares vs. this FWD one...

  • While I'm sure VW has the engineering right (the normal Passat is excellent), the proportions on this are all off because of the FWD architecture. No thanks VW, you can keep this!

  • dude you can get hte 4 motion all wheel drive that pushes 100% of the power to the rear when you accelarate hard... no diffrence whatsoever except this wont run you of the road like a ´67 cuda

  • Actually, the Haldex setup that VW uses on these cars doesn't send 100% of the available tq to the rear....but thats not even what I was talking about. I'm talking about FWD proportions. Notice how FWD cars have a short axle-centerline to "firewall" ratio! If thats not bad enough, VW makes it more noticeable with the enlarged front overhang. And this applies to 4Motion examples too, considering they're FWD based also.

  • ok i get your point. but stil what do you drive that has such stupendous handling that this isnt good enough for you? just a simple question as i got the 2009 cc with the VR6 engine and AWD and i have to say its on the level with my previous car (a 2008 BMW 535xd) and thats primarily a RWD chassis

  • Well, since you're asking, I drive a 1993 300SE. My comments have been about styling and design proportions. In my original statement I agreed that VW has the engineering correct (they usually do). My only gripe is with the styling. The rear is exceptional. The front, however, is questionable because of the "coupe" presentation on a FWD vehicle architecture. Don't get me wrong. I love German cars. My tuner-toy is an 88 VW GLI 16V!

  • hehe dude your really into all this arent you :D well i like the styling from the front a lot more that the back :D but i guess thats a question of taste :D

  • I'm an engineering student who happens to be a technician too.

  • yeah i expected domething omong those lines. you obviousley seem to know what youre talking about but again i reply that its simply a matter of taste. sure its no z4 but its not supposed to be :D

  • You're 100% correct. Styling is completely subjective.

  • i actually reviewed my owners manual because i was sure i had read somewhere something on the distribution of power regarding the 4motion system and it turnes out that in theory the 4motion haldex set up can in theory refer 100% of torque to only one axle
