  • I think the last few are Slip Jigs in 9/8 time the last one is called The Boys Of Ballisodare. Great to find it as it isn't listed on youtube and is great for fiddle and whistle. You can hear the difference in the tempo.

  • Wait, that's who's missing LOL!

  • Kevin had hair.

  • I feel like they are missing something.

  • yeah the were sooo cute.

  • Isn't that Luke Skywalker playing the pipes?!?!?!

  • I have this tune as 'Bealtainne' on the Lunasa (live) album, I saw them around 5 years ago at Sidmouth Folk Festival and haven't got bored listening to them yet :)

  • Qué añejura!!! :D excelente video! 5/5

  • wow this is so old. stupid, but i never realised that theyd probably been around quite a while lol. i saw them live last year and loved them. but i dont recognise all of these..

  • Yeh, the original line up was a lot different to now!

  • Very good

  • wow!!!!this is the beauty

  • I have never seen a bag the same color as the one McSherry is using here! Most interesting!

  • McFluter1 i agree,

Band didn't have the same edge when McSherry and McGoldrick left.

    Brill Stuff :)

  • Original band was McSherry, Smyth and Steve Cooney. Joined then by McGoldrick and then the other two. Lunasa was never as good a band when McSherry and McGoldrick left.

  • I believe the word Lunasa comes from Lughnasdh or Lug's Birthday.Good music!

  • Beautiful sound.

  • Very nice.

  • Great!! But where is Mike?

  • Great video! great band
