Bush is gone. This is Obama's watch. And I'm watching him blow through money like a drunken sailor. As far as AIG goes, Congress should actually read the bills before they approve them. BTW, isn't a bonus supposed to be a reward for good performance?? How many of Obama's nominees don't pay taxes? I'm not talking accounting errors; I'm talking outright fraud. To be as fair as possible to Obama - he DID say that things are bad & will get worse, before they get better - a hard truth, but it was an honest statement.
FACT - Obama inherited a POISONED & CORRUPTED economy from BUSH!

To be as fair as possible to Obama - he DID say right at the start that things are bad & will get worse, before they get better ..(cos I actually listened to some of his earlier speaches) - It's a hard truth, but it was an honest statement by a man with good intentions and he's only been in the job officially for a couple of months for goodness sakes!
What are you expecting? He's only a man, he can't walk on water or feed the world with a few fish & some bread in one day!

Elasaltaculos, Why didn't Bush prevent unfair bonus's for all the other financial corporations his government bailed out with tax payers money BEFORE Obama got elected & before AIG's failure?
Because (A) he didn't give a damm cos he knew the economy was a poisoned cup he was leaving for Obama to deal with and (B) His buddies all work within those organisations!

I am not denying that Bush's policies were disastrous for the economy. The problem is that you and so many other people think that Obama is doing the right thing.
You fail to see that he is doing the exact same thing but his "stimulus plan" is even worse, because it doesn't give the people the money, but the administration spends it as they see fit.
They deal with the economy the same way and it is the wrong way.

I'm glad you noticed them. that was my fault. I work for Jackie, and he was taping a guest spot for a tv show where they had him loaded up with character make-up we tried to remove it quickly so I could do this video and I could go home early. I told him he looked fine, and now he's royally pissed at me. I know it looks funny as hell, but he reads these comments and now he's none too happy that I filmed him like that. We don't need anything from overseas and you don't need anything from us - this gloablization and Trade BS is just a scam... We have plenty of land to feed ourselves and if we need oil we can drill offshore and in Alaska and the recently found field on the US Canadian Border
