If he believes that people are experiening sleep paralysis and not actual alien abductions then what would be the answer for the people that experience the "alien abductions" with a group of friends or so? They could not all possible dream the same thing and recall it step by step?

What about the incident that happened in Zimbabwe 1994 when about 60 kids playing outside during recess in full day light. All saw an alien craft landing and one alien getting out of the craft!!! The government is much further along in technology than they tell us. For this "Dr." to say it is impossible because of "science" is a terrible argument. Actually the tv show Fringe had an episode where they used very low RadioFWvs to vibrate matter to liquify it so they could walk through it...this technology exists.
A science falls short imo failing to explain why sleep paralysis can be connected to environment. An example: a friend stayed at her neighbours. She awoke at 3am feeling something moving the bed at the bottom corner. Once awake a hand went over her mouth and something was whispering to her. She eventually got free and screamed. The neighbour sat with her with a cup of tea and explained it happens every time someone sleeps in her spare room. My friend was furious she never gave her any warning.
'Throw out a lot of science'? Sounds more like we have to expand the paradigm of those sciences. I simply can't understand how presumptuous these so called 'experts' are to think that the science we have today is absolute. Its the certainty when its anything but certain thats irritating. The experiences are in a very narrow realm. If it is the dream world, why always nightmares? Why shadow male figure whos face you can never see. Why does he sometimes have "minions" or "smaller entities" that seem to do its will. Why the buzzing/crackling sound of energy in the room? Why are people often woken by the bed moving? Why a distinct feeling of the presence of evil. Why do they seem to be feeding off fear?
All of these points make it, for me at least, far from an open and shut case. There is also a link to a certain room that people I know have experienced. Having never suffered from this phenomenon until sleeping in the room, and have never suffered from it since.
Totally agree man. Whatever it is, we don't have a definitive answer. As a species, we are just starting to understand the reality we live in. Jumping to conclusions never helped and when science just dismisses or accepts something without the proper investigation its a shot to the foot of our own advancement. I've experienced sleep paralysis a few times as well. I think it's pretty common, but it happened to me before I learnt about astral projection. I've heard sleep paralysis is the first step towards astral projection, and next time it happens to me I'm gonna try control it and see if I can advance to the next stage. I believe sleep paralysis to be demonic as well. I used to suffer from it all the time, then someone I met online suggested that I cry out Jesus' name during the incident to make it stop instantaneously. The next time I had a sleep paralysis episode I did so and I saw a bluish vortex open above me and ciphen away a black, clawed being and I just went back to sleep. Maybe it was a dream, but at least I wasn't paralyzed anymore.

I've experienced sleep paralysis too, and for me there were two small beings, one with gray skin, walking around my bed. I could see how misinformed people having a similar hallucination could think that it was an "alien" being, especially when they seek help from psychologists who tell them that they may be experiencing an alien abduction.
At that point most objectivity is ignored, and they start believing that they in fact were abducted. Hypnotic regression, which can implant false memories, helps affirm these beliefs.
Also, when people describe their "alien abductions," they're not exactly the same. Granted there are some similarities between experiences, but there are usually huge discrepancies between individuals in areas such as aliens appearances, how the abduction occurred, etc, and these differences are usually not made public by these media shows (such as Sightings), who generally only show the similarities, which are minor, and paints a different picture, that all experiences are identical.

the experience mentioned by the resource person is similar to the experience of people having pancreatitis. though this pancreatitis normally happens to male asians but of course it won't excempt caucasians. per recent analysis pancreatitis is caused by eating foods with carbohydratres before sleeping. this is easily done by people claiming to be abductees.

Many people have been found to have (alien) implants in their bodies. Or they have been transported hugh distances during their abduction (you walk your dog and 45 minutes later you are 160 miles further).
I would like to know which astronomical science facts that guy is refering to that need to be thrown out in order to accept the fact that aliens exist and visit earth (and possibly abduct people). Sorry pal, you have no clue as to what your talking about. I never even get to the dream part. It happens to me before I even get to sleep. I also have seen them, for the past 29 years I have been fighting this thing.
First, i don't like the humiliated tone of speaking of the so called presentator. It's like talking about horses, but never have ridd'n on one. Sleepparalysis exists from the beginning of human kind ... Still, it's not the end of the story. I've had intens and chronical sleepparalysis for over one and a half years, 5 days a week, 3 time's a night. I know what I'm talking about. These folks are just at the beginning of the story.
One MAJOR difference with a hypnopompic illusion is the lapse of time, having forgotten the experience. It cannot even be called a hypnopompic illusion. If the list of symptoms is not matching, on several counts (multiple witnesses or abductees, forgetting yes or no) we're talking about something different here.
Certain "symptoms" that the interviewed man mentions are not exclusively belonging to a hypnopompic illusion.
His hypothesis doesn't explain people being abducted from their cars or other things they're doing while awake, and it doesn't explain the cases where more than one person is involved.
I think hypnopompic hallucination exists (I experienced that myself occasionally) but it's nowhere near the intensity of what abductees tell.

The exact same cicumstance occurs during OBEs/Astral travel experiences. Either people are misinterpreting their physical/astral split as an "alien abduction," or there really are other Beings taking advantage of the situtation as a means to snatch people.

Its so easy for people to dismiss this phenomena as sleep paraliysis. Its happened to me and no one on earth or wherever can tell me it wasnt what it was, most of them are genuine alien abductions not sleep paralysis and i know that for a fact.

What about the incident that happened in Zimbabwe 1994 when about 60 kids playing outside during recess in full day light. All saw an alien craft landing and one alien getting out of the craft!!! A science falls short imo failing to explain why sleep paralysis can be connected to environment. An example: a friend stayed at her neighbours. She awoke at 3am feeling something moving the bed at the bottom corner. Once awake a hand went over her mouth and something was whispering to her. She eventually got free and screamed. The neighbour sat with her with a cup of tea and explained it happens every time someone sleeps in her spare room. My friend was furious she never gave her any warning.

Why shadow male figure whos face you can never see. Why does he sometimes have "minions" or "smaller entities" that seem to do its will. Why the buzzing/crackling sound of energy in the room? Totally agree man. Whatever it is, we don't have a definitive answer. As a species, we are just starting to understand the reality we live in. Jumping to conclusions never helped and when science just dismisses or accepts something without the proper investigation its a shot to the foot of our own advancement. I've experienced sleep paralysis a few times as well. I think it's pretty common, but it happened to me before I learnt about astral projection. I've heard sleep paralysis is the first step towards astral projection, and next time it happens to me I'm gonna try control it and see if I can advance to the next stage. AP sounds rad, you should look into it. I've never been able to achieve it, but everyone says it's mindblowing, like an ultra vivid dream you're in control of :-b

I believe sleep paralysis to be demonic as well. I used to suffer from it all the time, then someone I met online suggested that I cry out Jesus' name during the incident to make it stop instantaneously. The next time I had a sleep paralysis episode I did so and I saw a bluish vortex open above me and ciphen away a black, clawed being and I just went back to sleep. Maybe it was a dream, but at least I wasn't paralyzed anymore.

I've had sleep-paralysis and let me tell you all... it is NOTHIN like dreaming with ur eyes open... it's more like being awake and seeing things you should only see in the dreams... but being fully alert, sense, smell, sight, hearing dunno about taste though... but yea you are 100 percent paralized and have 0 % of your speech capabilities... even though in your head you are screaming full sentences, nothin comes out... very horrifying experience... wouldnt wish it on anyone.

I've experienced sleep paralysis too, and for me there were two small beings, one with gray skin, walking around my bed. I could see how misinformed people having a similar hallucination could think that it was an "alien" being, especially when they seek help from psychologists who tell them that they may be experiencing an alien abduction.

The tingling was going up my legs when it past by a joint the joint would relax this tingling went all the way up to my neck then when the tingling was just about to go to my head.. I have also had a visitaion "Classic" paralysis etc, The aliens in my room had cloaks..I get chills to this day when I talk or wrie about it. What you experienced is called the Hooded Man Syndrome and was first written about in the 15th century by Munks in Europe. This is researched in Sleep medicine and we cannot understand why. What this clown is talking about is garbage, fear controls him for sure. The actual hallucination in itself gives it away. This should be (the halluc) the persons subcon fears. i have had sleep paralisis twice in my life...i never saw any aliens,all i felt was a presence in my room that was some how non human...to put all abduction down to this is absurd..i believe i was in rem sleep during this...there are many cases with evidence.phisical marks on the abductees body etc..mass abductions,i dont have enough room to go into it all...

We can tell you our true stories what happened to us..UFO researchers, investigators and scientists can take that information and find an answer with evidence...otherwise keep on researching because this phenomenon does exist there are other people who experience a fully awakening state not just sleeping when it comes to Alien/UFO encounters. that i cant fully understand because its more like paranormal...plus i had a few UFO encounters and recently on May 25th 2009 at 9:40pm fully awaken state while i was driving..i looked up and i saw 3 white lights blinking at the same time in a fast rate in a triangular formation which looks like to me a Trianguilar type of craft moving slowly passing over my car. I looked 3 times to see if i was seeing this correctly..sure enough I was seeing this quite fine..I do not do drugs, i dont drink..

I dont have sleep paraylsis because my experiences started when i was walking in beyond the woods alone I came back home with scrapes, scratches on my legs and arms by branches, twigs, and sticks walking thru the woods in shorts..Then i experience a face to face angel like being in my bedroom who look like my mother..Decades later I get on and off flashbacks of this childhood event that i have been pushing aside for so long. Flashbacks are REAL MEMORY recall from childhood that happened..

Now these people who have alien beings in their bedrooms, are they living in neighborhoods where the houses are built close together, or maybe in places where the houses are far apart. Because it would seem to me that your neighbors would see the lights of a ship. Also, do these people have dogs that bark? No one ever seems to have any dogs that attack.

Other forms of life exist. and its stupid to look for our organic compounds. there are billions of galaxies and all the elements we have found have been on earth. Wouldn't it make sense that other organisms exist but we just cant find them because we don't know what they are made of?

the experience mentioned by the resource person is similar to the experience of people having pancreatitis. though this pancreatitis normally happens to male asians but of course it won't excempt caucasians. per recent analysis pancreatitis is caused by eating foods with carbohydratres before sleeping. this is easily done by people claiming to be abductees.

Many people have been found to have (alien) implants in their bodies. Or they have been transported hugh distances during their abduction (you walk your dog and 45 minutes later you are 160 miles further).

I would like to know which astronomical science facts that guy is refering to that need to be thrown out in order to accept the fact that aliens exist and visit earth (and possibly abduct people). As far as I know (and I have been keeping up!) the general scientific point of view nowadays is that the universe is probably teeming with life and that time-space can be bent in order to travel great distances.
Certainly many people simply dream or are nuts like the alien imitating growling woman.

First, i don't like the humiliated tone of speaking of the so called presentator. It's like talking about horses, but never have ridd'n on one. Sleepparalysis exists from the beginning of human kind ... Still, it's not the end of the story. I've had intens and chronical sleepparalysis for over one and a half years, 5 days a week, 3 time's a night. I know what I'm talking about. These folks are just at the beginning of the story.

One MAJOR difference with a hypnopompic illusion is the lapse of time, having forgotten the experience. It cannot even be called a hypnopompic illusion. If the list of symptoms is not matching, on several counts (multiple witnesses or abductees, forgetting yes or no) we're talking about something different here.

Certain "symptoms" that the interviewed man mentions are not exclusively belonging to a hypnopompic illusion.
His hypothesis doesn't explain people being abducted from their cars or other things they're doing while awake, and it doesn't explain the cases where more than one person is involved.
I think hypnopompic hallucination exists (I experienced that myself occasionally) but it's nowhere near the intensity of what abductees tell.

Ive never seen any strange looking creatures or so called demons when this happens. S.P does not bother me, i sometimes get a surge of energy when paralized feels like im being levitated high up just below the ceiling and then a few seconds later get sucked back down to my bed then i can move again,

The exact same cicumstance occurs during OBEs/Astral travel experiences. Either people are misinterpreting their physical/astral split as an "alien abduction," or there really are other Beings taking advantage of the situtation as a means to snatch people.

ASTRAL. 2 TIMES AND AND ABDUCTION NO IDEA HOW MANY TIMES....but it was what it was an abdution .. because i saw the freaking things hand on my neck...and he removed it quickly when i open my eyes as i felt my body been put back on my bed . very slowly until i felt my back touching the matress.. i past out after..ill never forget this experience ... i cant sleep at night anymore ...

Its so easy for people to dismiss this phenomena as sleep paraliysis. Its happened to me and no one on earth or wherever can tell me it wasnt what it was, most of them are genuine alien abductions not sleep paralysis and i know that for a fact.

ok i have had sleep paralysis with hallucinations but no aliens. i have probably only have had only two alien dreams that i could recall. whatever i usually fear ends up in my sleep paralysis dreams but not the aliens. alot of people i ask said they hardly dream of them so it seems weird they would dream that vivid of alien abductions when people claim to hardly dream about aliens. especially when thier are alot of religious people wo would dream up demons instead
