I'm not familiar with the term "plunger lift". Is that a hydralic system or something? I thought most wells in Ohio only pumped out a couple of barrels a day. 45 wells sounds like a lot of work. Do you check all of them each day?!
Basically Plunger lift is the use of a device called a plunger or rabbit that has the outside diameter close to the size of the tubing (it has spring loaded paddles that meet the inside of the tubing). The wells are controlled by a logic box (timer)The plunger is what brings up the fluid, casing pressure forces the plunger up the hole. We have wells that make several bbls per day. No I don't check each day, every well has its own schedule for the week I visit once or twice a week
I maintain 45 wells, 15 being rabbit (plunger lift). The only wells that run 24hrs are the rabbits, I guess here in the spring they will be drilling some new clinton wells, which usually have pumping units on them. Those run 24/7 until production drops below 14 bbls per day. Yeah those Fairbanks engines are cool, we have a 208 on one of our wells in the Louisville area.
my exprience on arrow is that ther worst they sound the better they are runnig

Hi JFK, any chance you could give us a new video of one of your engines running? Love to see one.

How many wells do you maintain? Are the wells in your area running 24 hrs a day? I am a big fan of the Fairbanks ZC engines.

That engine is on a oil well in Louisville, Ohio. I'm the pumper who operates it.
