  • in the navy

  • Invading foreign countries on LIES for banks and corporations, thinly disguised as 'humanitarian missions' ( HA!).

Stop fighting false flag wars for money interests.

  • "Who's gonna help them?"

Definately not the UN since they don't do s*it.

  • Ehh the world is fucked up in todays time.. What happend to armies protecting the country instead of going to Africa now armies are helping gorillas that are 2000 years behind make wells and shit.

  • The first half (up to 0:25) is from "The Interpreter" movie by Sydney Pollack

  • You know what I find interesting? This ad encourages you to help those suffering in the third world, but its the meddling, exploitation, and abandonment by Britain and other Europeans through military power that caused them to be that way in the first place!

This ad should say, "Go clean up your grandparents mess!"

  • Does it really matter who is doing a better job? Were on the same side for fuck sake

  • I am joining up as an MA! Anyone from Navy here?

  • senior service every time !

  • Instead of a medical chopper with a fit lass in it to yet another tiresome Islamic punch-up just send a B-52 with a bellyful of JDAMs, pleeeease!!!!

  • EVERY Military advert I see an argument.

We don't need an internet war as well.

Full respects to soldiers, sailors and pilots.

  • from the US Navy to the British Navy: Fair winds and Following Seas.

  • any of you you ever heard of The New World Order and their genocide plans for the world? These people are in your government, with staged false flag wars... Investigate this... > Fabled Enemies and Endgame

  • First off, im an American and i believe that some will agree with me in in this: Navy Seals/Royal Marines>US Marines>Army.

  • @pointblood77 um... you cant' really compare the Marines or the Army to Seals. it's kind of stupid.

  • Dear oh dear oh dear. *shakes head sadly*

  • I have to say ...In IRAQ and AFGANISTAN....

The Brits are doing the best job as of yet....

    Love India

  • @duker1231 britain are doing a good job, but the only reason we went there is cos of the americans, all they wanted was the oil, then the terrorist (freedom fihgters) think they're invading and attack us!

  • @duker1231 yeah and the U.S basts are doing nothing except breaking into houses and killing little kids and raping womans, hate em >.<

  • I havent seen this recrument vid on tv yet

  • too fuckin right! RN all the way!!!

  • What an interesting sales-pitch. The Australian Army is also now using the same recruiting ploy -humanitarian aid

  • americans: dont even try to argue that you are better than us because you just aren't. do you know how many u.s recruits fail the basic intelligience test?

  • Great! Now all America need to do is find soldiers who can not only tell which soldier's are on their side! But tell which soldiers are on friendly sides!

  • @indigodingobongo you do know the British COINED he word Friendly fire right? I would look through British Friendly Fire history and then you wont' ever bring that up ever again.

Firing on the Prussians at water-loo

sinking there own subs, the First Spitfire kill was 2 British Hurricans.

Royal Navy shot down 4 American C-47 full of American paratroopers during the invasion of Sicily

ya you don't want to look at the FF history of the British.

  • @Dogmeat1950 maybe so, but americans actually manage to do it with all the latest equipment which are specifically designed to stop these kind of accidents happening

  • @indigodingobongo um...doesn't change the fact hell friendly fire happened way back when people lined up and shot each other. hell Battle of Waterloo British Arrty fired on Prussian Cav units, Prussian uniforms never looked like French ones lol.. just saying,

  • @Dogmeat1950 actually french and prussian uniforms where quite close, and how can you compare the 1800's to modern day warfare anyway?

  • @drunkenfish07 easy. back then they had to see the enemy, and since when does Prussia Cav look like French cav?

    French Cav head Breast plates.

  • @Dogmeat1950 the friendly fire was against landwehr infantry, who wear dark blue coat with white or grey pants, similar to the french infantry uniform.

For artillery i can understand that argument, but not for air support, especially A-10's they still have to see the enemy

  • Blaaaaaaaaaaaaah! 5 minutes of excitement, ten years of scrubbing out and no weekenders!

  • the us army has killed more allies than enemies they stupid

  • haha the only good theing about the u.s army is its size british troops are better trained better people and they dont sing stupid gay songs and talk crap like the yanks. the are a bunch of cartoon charicters. 100 royal marines vs 100 us marines would be funny. i guarentee there would be 100 royal marines left over

  • I get tired of people spouting bullshit about whos better and whos not. At the end of the day yes RM Commandos r hard but so are US Marines. Both are highly trained and have the well earned reputation of destroying everything in their paths. Both organizations share much of the same values, commitment, courage and abilities. The RM's specialize in Commando type warfare and are a very small unit. While the USMC is a huge combined arms team that could defeat most countries single handily.

  • Thank GOD someone has the right idea!

  • @ginjaninja1988 the difference between fighting the RM and fighting the USMC is the difference of being blown up by a tank round and getting a piece of cold steel in the back, either way you're going down.

  • @ginjaninja1988 I wouldn't agree with you the U.S Marines are stress trained , and they are known for shouting a lot! and no the USMC cannot even beat 1/4 of an army, thats what they want you to think the bloody U.S army sends some around 20-40+ jet fighters to clean the area and the USMC enters and put the flags and says " HEY, we did it" go dream far away.

  • @dark50killer Theres not much merit in your argument. The Marine Corps has 202,779 active and 40,000 reserve personnel. That is larger than the entire armed forces of most nations in the world. Secondly the US Army does not fly jets and you demonstrate ignorance on the issue in saying so. Thridly the USMC does happen to fly jets which are the specific purpose of supporting Marines on the ground. The Marine Corps is a combined arms team with more hardware more combat experience than most nations

  • @dark50killer So saying they cant beat 1/4 of an army or saying that they just ride in and put in flags is highly ignorant.

  • ahem, royal marines get the longest basic training then any other NATO troops, and RMC is better then USMC but remember what RMC stands for, royal marine COMMANDO, theyre not basic soldiers theyre commando units so better to put it bluntly. but its a bit a of a nob thing to do arguing about armed forces especially when theyre allied

  • British royal navy trains submarineers from australia united states germany france denmark sweden and alot more places they all sit the same perisher course it is the hardest course to pass in the worl and once you have passed it you can become a fully fledged submarine captain. however id rather join the RFA

  • I wont get my ass kicked in the USMC. The RM are good fighting men. But so is the USMC. The RM was formed after the USMC to fight the USMC. So who is going to be the better one?

  • lol sadanieldavey who tells you this information haha

    listen up maggot

royal marines were founded in 1664

american marines were founded in 1775

    so back to ure question

So who is going to be the better one?

hahaha i love proving stupid arrogant yanks wrong haha

    love it.

  • OK you win on that one. Also I am not a YANK. I am British working for the US Government. I had a brother who was Royal Marine. I envie him. He made a great decision. If you have any more arguements for me, send them my way.

  • So you dont have anything to say, thought not. A other thing, I am RM Reserveist in Devon. 1664 a good year for beer!

  • well, if u put it liek that, if the RM were created to beat the USMC (duno wer u gt that from, but anyway...) then we would have been created to beat u and be better then you, or there would have been no use in its creation according to u anyway... thus RM are the best... no quarms

  • there is NO cannibalism in the british navy

  • Royal Navy an fight, jsut rememebr the Falklands and the decades we pwned the Frogs at sea.

  • our military ads are so fucking dull, they don't inspire anyone to join. maybe the MoD should look at US Army ads for inspiration. you can never go wrong with patriotism.

  • thats cs the royal navy have nothing to luk exciting... hop over to the royal marines adverts... mabi the US should luk at them adverts too... cs they r the most inspirational adverts for any fighting force.

  • I know! haha, i wish the us would get more kick ass ones like those. the marines and air force is starting to catch up, but the army and navy are still using the old "glory glory honor honor" nothing wrong with it, but the USMC commercials are more focused on exitment, much like RM commercials, but still not quite as good. lol

  • I don't give a shit which one is best. US MARINES or ROYAL MARINES. They are both the msot trained soldiers in the world.

But I surely can say, the US has better advertising promos for our armed forces. Check it out. You will see what I am talking about.a

  • Vada, but thats exactly where you are WRONG my friend. the USMC are NOT the MOST trained soldiers in the world by far. Rergular British army infantry regiments receive 24 weeks training, the Royal Marines receive 32 weeks, which sometimes goes up to 36 weeks, and the USMC get 12 weeks of training. You can do basic math, yes?

  • No, USMC training dosen't stop after Parris Island. You're talking about Basic. After graduating the 12 week course, they continue training, whether they choose wing, or infantry, etc. for a certain of time. I might not be totally accurate about this htough

Either way, if you're in the military, every single day is training. Especially when you're at war

  • lets face britian has had years of warfare and expierence of it some of land has made the shape it has today because of war but in amercia u never been fighting on your door step so you make a big deal about 9/11, and yes it was bad but we have ira bombs and islam bombs everything

  • royal marines do specialist training after their 32 weeks 'basic' commando training...so thats longer still

  • That is a load of bull. The USMC do carry on basic training. Somtimes for up to a year after there basic training. Can you do the Math?

  • well after completion of the 36 weeks of the Commando training, Royal Marines do 3 months Desert, 3 Months Jungle and 3 months Arctic training. can you do math? and if in doubt, you can check it out. Longest NATO traning in the world is by RMC. (exclusing the SAS)

  • thats because they are commandos, an infantry us marine goes to 13 weeks boot camp, and then 7 weeks for infantry, thats 21 including the reception week, then they are basic rifleman. after that, they advance through the ranks, earning them all. if they DO want to advance into a COMMANDO unit like the RM, they go through a YEAR long pipeline, until they are BASIC recon marines. unlike royal marines, they are trained in airborne ops, and scuba ops. not saying usmc is better, just educating. lol

  • The same goes for most RM's they become paratroopers and divers, Special Boat Service (like the SAS but even harder!) they have to complete additional training for these courses, the comparison is a basic US Marine vs a Basic UK Royal Marine Commandeo (you cant compare the two as the US marine is a Infantry soilder). The best comparison would be a US Marine VS UK Infantry Regiment that is the same. It takes a Royal Marine 18 months or more to become a "whole Marine" so thats pretty long training!

  • Fail.

Most Royal Marines will specialise after 2 years as a general duties marine. The training is 32 weeks long. After that they're a marine. Officers take 14 months

. After the 2 years, they get the option to specialise.

The marines are an amphibious infantry force under naval command- much like the USMC.

The SBS, SAS and other special forces are tri-service. They can pull recruits from across HM Forces. If a recruit passes UKSF selection they can join the SAS. SBS needs more training.

    Twat.

  • yeah, 12 weeks boot camp, then a 7 week infantry course. thats 21 weeks, and I can asure you, its way more intense then royal army. not just physically, but mentally. they have people wacking them, screaming right into thier faces, and cussing at them non stop. dont believe me, just watch any boot camp video

  • lol "Royal Army". British army, mate. They only have 6 weeks basic. The RMC is 32 weeks for other ranks and 14 months for officers. Way more intense.

  • mate before u post get ur facts right, non-infantry get 12 weeks basic and then trade, and infranty get, if i remember correctly get 28 weeks and 32 weeks for paras( not that much less of actual training as RMC get 3/4 weeks for their commando course)

  • 'Kin hell. I was wondering what you were replying to. That was basically when I was an elitist without a reason or knowledge. Sorry.

  • mate rm get 32 weeks as basic recruit and 54 as officer............i think its 24 for army not sure though

  • royal navy cant fight you obivously dont know what your talking about and your going to get your ass kicked in usmc

  • there ok, there training is the big one but the royal navy are crap. im proberly saying that because i am joining the usmc!!!

  • do you know what the R in RM stands for?

    REAL marines

  • it stands for Royal Marines toughest fighting force in the world no doubt

  • well yeah obviously, but you know what im getting at

  • 2nd toughest. I'd imagine those chaps from The Regiment might grab first place. but yeh, i totally agree with you, RMC hard as fucking hails. :))

  • the royal navy cant fight

  • who are you to say the rn cant fight, your a 19 year old kid who cant even get his facts right, rn are the best navy in the world, not the most powerful thats the us i admit but the rn are definatly more skilled and if you were in a foriegn navy you wouldnt be to happy about the royal navy comin for you.

  • The RN has came for me. 17 year old actually. I wouldnt say the best, they are good fighting guys and girls. But I still go for the USN for the best fighting Navy

  • im thinking of joinin to do warfare specialist any 1 wats it like wb andy

  • brilliant
