  • ITS NOT SEA LEVEL RISE .ITS POST GLACIAL REBOUND . THE ICE CAPS ARE MELTING DUE TO ''RADIATION'' . NOW KEEP IN MIND WATER IS HEAVY REALLY HEAVY ,ONE GALLON OF WATER IS EQUIVALENT TO EIGHT POUNDS AND THERE'S TALK THAT THERE HAS BEEN 9 CALIFORNIA'S WORTH OF ICE THAT HAS MELTED AND THAT WAS IN 2010 .SO THIS WEIGHT IS COMPRESSING THE OCEAN'S FLOOR WHICH IS CAUSING THE ISLAND TO SINK AMONGST OTHER THINGS LIKE EARTHQUAKES ,CHANGES IN WEATHER PATTERS MAGMA PUSHES WHICH LEADS TO VOLCANIC ACTIVITY

  • AGW deniers: go publish a paper in a peer-reviewed climate journal if you think you can disprove the hundreds of lines of proof (evidence) that AGW is real, serious, and happening now. Until then, shut up.

  • Anthropogenic global warming (AGW) deniers are unpatriotic America-hating traitors who want to destroy what's left of America's ecology and economy by forcing starvation on our children with crop destruction from extremes of floods and droughts and mass migrations. They need to be arrested, tried for treason and crimes against humanity, and executed.

  • so why are you not showing historic and present day tide grafts, could it be that there is no raise to show?

  • Sea Level Rise Opportunities

Future Water Proof Corporation (FWPC) is a venture-capital backed enterprise embracing the challenges of climate change, and in particular rising sea levels, through the implementation of Global Warming Utilization Management.

FWPC sees the future rise in sea levels as an opportunity to maximise business growth, while at the same time improving the lives of everyday city-dwellers.

  • Hey rokag3 you're full of shit!

  • Thanks so much for uploading this video because I have geography homework due for January and the comments have shown both against and for why the video is useful.

To be honest you cant really rely on one scientist to discover all this information even if it has been peer reviewed.

However, Dr. Chip Fletcher is investigating Hawaii's coast sea level rise and what it could cause and all the arguments against this video is stating scientific info. given for sea-level rise around the world.

  • The reason that I think that models are inadequate is that they are over-estimating the importance of CO2. The Met Office acknowledge that CO2 is essentially saturated in the atmosphere. Not literally, but CO2 can only absorb in certain, and rather narrow, bands in the IR spectrum. And the current CO2 levels are already absorbing their maximum amounts ( or a near as damn it ). So more CO2 will not make are significant impact

  • You should go work for the petroleum industry. They need people like you to muddy the waters. I have a daughter and I care about the planet I'm handing over to her. The oil companies may have tons of money but they are morally bankrupt.

  • I am Father(2) and grand father (4)

And You speak about oil corp wrong call them Energy suplyer corps.

Yes they are affraid (of guy like me) because you work for them.

Taxs on oil will maintain high price ref for energy.less cons. les investments+they will receive money for co2 free nuclear plants "clean carbon" ivestments and tale high profits due to a high referential.

    So think twice

    A flat world skeptic

  • @rokag3 The small concentration of CO2 has significant impact to the average temperature because of feedback effects. It's explained in the internet. There are even a few movies here in youtube that explain it quite well.

  • @ShwangShwing

I thank you very much for your kind invitation to increase my knowledge. But ia am a little engineer that master pretty well the first and snd law of thermodynamic. I am also aware of this theory of negative feedback(very rare the negative feed back) since this is a total unstable position.

  • @rokag3 I'm talking about positive feedback. Negative feedback stabilizes the system, positive feedback has potential to make a system unstable. So the feedabck in climate is the following: CO2 rises, temperature rises, the oceans get wamer, when it's warmer it releases absorbed CO2 and the positive feedback is set. And this is not the only feedback.

  • @rokag3 ; Idiot.

  • Thank you for your comment. Dr. Chip Fletcher is the leading scientist studying Hawaii's coast. His scientific projection have been peer reviewed. Why don't you just continue watch Fox noise and hang out with other flat world believers.

  • I am very sorry but that is complete junk science.

find this scientific story make a research with those 2 elements

you will find solarcycle this is a scientific forum

    "Tasmanian Sea Level"

    "John L. Daly"

  • Does the data supporting the predictions include the equalizing effect of isostasy on the sea floor (as accepted for land masses) in measuring the rate of sea level rise? The isostatic effect should nearly have a 1/3 drop ratio of the sea floor, since the added water is only about 1/3 the mass of displaced sea floor rock, which is ultimately displaced out under the land masses and decreases the sea level rise by 1/3 of the expected measurement. P.S. I don't work for an oil company.

  • I suspect that this will have been fully addressed.

Look at the reports, they're fully referenced.

  • LMAO! The latest stats show the average temp in the USA was 51 degree's, which is the lowest in 114 years. Also the temp worl wide has dropped 1 degree since 2001. There are cool water currents in the pacific and the atlantic seeing the next 10 to 12 years of cooling. If ice melted and water rose, why doesn't ice water over flow? This is nothing more than liars preaching propaganda! Dr. Tim Rose tells it best!

  • Scince 1992 Australia has been monitoring sea levels at numerous south pacific Islands , results show an average rise of 6mm per year or >2.5 inches a decade and its increasing.. I work on a boat on the Hawkesbury river north of Sydney Australia ,recently a king tide took the water level higher than anyone has ever seen . This is no joke.

  • NO JOKE? Well tell me if it is higher than anyone has seen, just how many years are you talking about? Remember the planet is 4 billion years old! So if someone 80 or 90 years old making that claim, DOES NOT make it a good bench mark percentage wise! 4,000,000,000/80 or 90 years Remember we only have DOCUMENTED weather data dating to the late 1870's. All stastistics are based on guesstamations, especially when you're trying to go back millions of years, let alone Billions

  • @bluesdrummer: The reason why ice water doesn't overflow is because the ice is already in the water, thus displacing the water. When the ice melts, the water level doesn't change. The main problem is land ice melting, because the volume of the ice isn't included in the sea level. Thus, the sea level will rise when land ice melts, but not when floating ice does.

The main problem though, is that all kinds of ice reflect back heat. When it melts, warming increases and so does the rate of melting.

  • I do understand your point. But the global warming preachers side step the sun's effect on global warming. The argument is 99.9% mans fault. I do know before man, Co2 was much higher in our atmosphere. And our ice caps have always fluxtuated in size and depth. I also know in Gore's film they're mistakes in calculations from the hockey stick curve graph and the ice core samples. Very misleading.

  • bluesdrummer715

Yes I agree your arguments are very misleading. There are many drivers of climate but currently, CO2 is the main driver.

That's why you're wrong. Plus there's all the science.

  • 96% of CO2 occurs naturaly on the planet

    the rest being man made

and water vapor being 100 times more of a greenhouse gas than CO2 occurs in nature almost completly with about .001% of it being man made, so really what are you worried about?

  • GreenFuz6

    'what are you worried about?'

    Idiots like you spreading misinfomation

  • GreenFuz6

Your silly remarks fail to mention that the carbon cycle has and is being perturbed. Natural sources are balanced by natural sinks. Artificial sources overwhelm natural sinks, which is why CO2 is accumulating in the atmosphere and the oceans are showing growing acidification.

We now have atmospheric CO2 levels at their highest for the last 800,000 years.

Climate scientists think this is a very bad thing. Most other scientists agree and I believe them.
