One knows that these merely are puppets, but I'm so use to seeing them brought to life on television that it would be weird for many see to these puppets inactive and disassembled behind the scenes.

I know Jim Henson has been dead for over 20 years (!) but it still feels weird seeing somebody else performing as Kermit! Steve Whitmire does a good job, though.

@christytina81 Steve Whitmire took over Kermit and Ernie since Season 22 of Sesame Street. That is because Jim Henson died on May 16, 1990.
