  • Okay. Maybe I was harsh but turning them into domesticated horse is breaking them in. They are taught to obey humans the way domestics do. They need to stay a little wilod. I was a little harsh but I have a very strict opinion on the way that wild horses need to be. Sorry if i was that harsh.

  • This is no mustang rescue. A mustang rescue would save them and then put them back where they belong, in the wild. This is isn a true WILD HORSE SANCTUARY. If you want a true wild horse sanctuary, watch the video of The Black Hills Sanctuary. Mustang sanctuaries dont get in mustangs and then break them. This movie is a discrase to all Mustang sancutaries as this is not one.

  • @mainalisa0 Not all of us can afford 11,000 acres to release wild horses. Lifesavers has been a champion for mustangs for 15 years and has grown into the largest wild and domestic horse rescue in the world measured by the number of horses we've kept from going to slaughter; the number of horses we give care to, and the number and impact of our programs. (continued)

  • Your naive statement that a mustang rescue would put them back where the belong suggests that we should break the law and rerelease wild horses to BLM land once they have been gathered, processed and adopted. We strive to give our unadoptable wild horses the chance to live as freely as possible in the natural habitat properties that we have been able to acquire. (continued)

  • We have 150 living on 6000 acres in South Dakota, and 120 on 600 acres in California. That's better than what the horses were facing when we rescued them. We adopt the ones we can to make room for more horses that need us. In a perfect world I wouldn't have a job. And for your added information we don't "break" them, we gentle them.

  • Great video. Needs to be updated to reflect all that Lifesavers has accomplished, and how much the ranch has grown, over the past few years.

  • But I already have a horse and she is a money stealer! But will pray that those horses will all get lovely permanent homes!

  • God bless you and your center! I really want one of those horses but o

  • I adopted my mustang mare from them! She was broke bareback and in a halter :P so much for "wild."

  • Thank You WildHorse Rescue for opening your doors to the Internet Public..

We pray for your success and to create a trust among donors for so many in the past have gotten burned on ABR..

Its great to see rescues open up like this and clearly inform information about the BLMs true intent..

  • All of your horses are absolutely beautiful. If I lived closer I would love to have them all, especially Joy. She's stunning. The colts made me laugh when they went over to the mares. Boys will be boys.

  • to all those that think like haramacad's comment "what is the big deal about eating horse meat" well lets see ill only post 2 main reasons

    1. horses have constantly risked theyre lives and bodies for our lives or entertainment eg war and horse sports like racing and jump races etc

    2. Did you know that a scientist has found that a huge number of pets have contracted cancer since horse meat has been introduced into pet food. You may wanna think that maybe theres a link there

  • Great Work! Love what you do.

  • what is big deal if som one eats horse

  • I would love to work for you guys, or a place like yours. Helping wild horses is a dream of mine. Thank you so much for everything that you do for the mustangs and the PMU foals. It's people like you that give these horses the respect they deserve. God Bless you all.

  • will i love horses so this was so so cool

  • i would like to adopt a white horse with black hair

  • Thank you so much for dedicating your time to these horses. You are true life savers. It would have been awful if these beautiful creatures were sent to the slaughter house. I will never be able to show your my gratitude!

  • Thank you so much for being a support for these horses. I've seen slaughterhouse images...Many blessings to you. :) God bless.

  • What a wonderful place. Thank you for all you do for these magnificent horses. I could never possibly show you the depth of my gratitude.

  • 2:50

  • wow 3.50 middle horse is stunning <3

  • excellent video cheers from melbourne australia

  • What a well done video!

Thank you Lifesavers - for saving the Mustangs and PMU foals.

Premarin has been associated with an increased risk of cancer, as well as heart, clot and memory problems. We should not support the use of Premarin mares for HRT. There are plant based options.

And please consider supporting horse rescues like Lifesavers.

  • lol!so cute.funny at 8:40 the horse is like "can i drive?"
