  • i never knew freddy kruger drove a subaru brat!!lol

    nice job mate! :)

  • right on bro.

  • How did you make that rust effect?

  • basically everwhere there is rust i used a dremil to erode away some of the body, so when you look at it it looks like part of the body rusted away. then i used varius concentrations of tamiya rust paint with differnt levels of flat black mixed in to give differnt stages of rust look on the body. i actually looked up a real suburu brat owners website so i could see where rust would really affect the "real" vehicles, that really helped alot.

  • did you use the "Tamiya Weathering Pastel Set "?

  • not at all bro, i kind of mixed and match my own stuff, maybe it would have been easier your way.look up "brand new tamiya subaru brat" and you can watch it in high quality and see more detail.

  • brats of this year have a gold color rim so i used tamiya crome paint and i kept mixing orange in 1 drop at a time until i was happy with the outcome. then i rusted up the bolts in the rim.

  • Oh man thats too cool!!

  • that looks kinda scary id love to see some photos!

  • The decapitated head kinda gives me the creeps. But the detail is gorgeous, have you displayed that at shows yet?

  • I really like the Weathering on the truck it give it that age look.Pretty Cool

  • OMG!!!:D:D:D:D

  • I love the weathering effects you did on the body

  • holy crap.. I've never seen any RC with detail like this and I'm currently working on a Bruiser project. I love the aging appearance. I bought a 2008 repro-bruiser and I won a 1983 tamiya toyota pickup stepside bed (rear body shell) on eBay, I plan on making this bruiser project to look old, I plan on keeping the bed I bought with it's beat-up look and I planned on painting different "panels" different colors on the cab, that simulation-rust is amazing. I think you just inspired me :P good work

  • right on my man! thanks.

  • morbid but nevertheless an work on the body. I was just at the shop and old man Bien told me to look up a brat with a sick detail. 5stars.

  • right on bro, check out "tricked out hpi savage," you might recognize it.

  • Love the detail, nice work
