  • @segano1 so right...

  • why the fuck would the title be english and the language foreign fuck offffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

  • @aybfonzi4life Everything's right, man.. u can't traslate the name of the character, neither the title of the film (the same thing happens in the (for you) foreign books, movies etc...). So, both are in italian language, too.

  • @Aiace089 didnt know that!... thanks

  • 0:25 epic shout

  • 31 people don't know what cunt did it.

  • fucking movie, fucking country, fucking addicted, fucking people

  • Films like this should be banned from Italy unless they stop dubbing them. Italians dub all of their movies...you can't even go to the movie theater here and see any movie in original language. It's fucking pathetic and it ruins good movies.

  • @doomblackdeath perchè scrivi inglese se sei italiano?

  • @kiaveinglese perche' non sono italiano

  • @doomblackdeath same thing in austria

  • @doomblackdeath u r right but come on man... our dubbers are the best around the world :)

  • @vs17eee Saying your dubbers are the best in the world is like saying you make the best shit sandwich. It's still a shit sandwich. Dubbing ruins movies no matter how good you may think your dubbers are, and it especially ruins movies in Italy because it's not just dubbed, it's Italianized. Entire phrases are completely altered and the sense is ruined/lost. I'm so sick of people here saying, "But we have the best dubbers in the world!", as if that's actually a GOOD thing.

  • @doomblackdeth again: you are right. but keep in mind 3 things: 1) some pranks made with english words are not transliterable in italian, and some things that are comprehensible in english are not in italian (this is true expecially for sit-coms and tv shows). 2) some words or expressions are not allowed in italy (or are hardly tolerated) so the italian distributors (and dubbers) avoid them. 3) unfortunaltely the vast majority of people in italy doesn't understand spoken english

  • @vs17eee All true. But my point is that you don't HAVE to translate them if you just learn English. English is everywhere and is the easiest language to learn. You don't need classes, you just need to watch tv or go online. That's how the rest of the world does it and that's how countries like Sweden, Holland, Finland, Norway, and even Germany understand "le mode di dire". You start by reading the subtitles then move on to understanding it by ear. It's just laziness otherwise.

  • @doomblackdeth another thing: some italian movies (unfortunately not so many) are DUBBED in english (because nobody around the world speak italian) and in other languages... don't you think that those movies are the same shit sandwich that we italians eat to the movie theatre?

  • @vs17eee Which Italian movies are dubbed in English? I've never in my life seen a movie dubbed in English (apart from the hilariously dubbed Bruce Lee films of the 60's). If they're dubbed, no one in the English world watches the dubbed part because we prefer original language and subtitles. And another thing, no foreign film shown in the English-speaking world is dubbed at the cinema because it's ridiculous and ruins the film. So no, no shit sandwiches for us.

  • @vs17eee Think of it this way: when you dub a film, you're undermining the entire reason the actor was chosen for the part. Just because Luca Ward and Amendola are great voice actors doesn't mean they should dub over our films. Why stop there? Why not make every single protagonist in every single movie have Sean Connery or James Earl Jones's voice? We don't do it because you're taking away the actor's talent and emotion he/she has put into the role. In essence, you're re-writing the film.

  • @doomblackdeath

Spaniards are equally brainless: cant watch a single movie without dubbing it... and of course a general plane spanish dubbing, from Mexico or wherever, is too cheap for them: Films are dubbed in spanish from Spain! Yeah, that one with that pathetics ZZZs that noone can tolerate ... its just ridiculous !!

  • @doomblackdeath I feel this is due to enormous number of illiterate people who can`t read subtitles. German television stations do the same thing with their broadcasting. I hate it, but if you can`t read you shouldn`t be watch movie i guess...

  • @doomblackdeath you're right, this scene lost all its flavour in the translation...

  • English motherfvcker. Do you speak it?

  • @euroyankee2003

ahahahahah you should listen to traslation of that in the italian version of pulp fiction, it goes something like "do they speak my language there? my language motherfucker, do you speak it?"

  • he is so crazy :-D

  • I was actually in the pub where that scene was filmed this past weekend. Since the filming it's been renovated and is smaller now. It's called Crosslands.

  • Hahahahahahahaa!!!!

  • vabene?

  • I m sorry but translating this film is like cutting 90% out of it....

Simply does not work unless is enlgish in scotish accent.

Im not british but i love watching films in their original language.

  • I understand if you want it in your language but if it's not the original then put it in the title to avoid the 1 star ratings.

  • ha ha ha ha ha omg thats bad

  • Comment removed

  • lmao no...just not good...its supposed to be scottish... its what makes the film good

  • Jesus fuck that's weird.

  • HAHAHAHA love the dubbing;D

  • The dub is a little goofy, I think I'd prefer subtitles.

Him yelling 'SSSSSSSSSSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!' in Scotch-Italian was pretty funny though.

  • @JonnyLightning

scotch is a drink. It's Scottish mate.

  • @phdotsco

It's old, but you can still use the word "Scotch" to describe something Scottish.

  • @JonnyLightning im Scottish and the only people that ever describe something Scottish as being 'scotch' are Americans. No offence man! im sure you mean no harm :)

  • christ i pissed myself at "Saaaaaay" at 0.25

  • ma ke kazzo dici! mica è "Say" è "Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii" = "Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees"

  • Translating it just ruins it...

  • well, original language and subs are the best choice. still, translation has its meaning. you get more involved into the movie if you just listen to your own language and don't have to make any effort neither as regards reading nor as regards translating... but anyway, there's nothing like watching in original language to learn a language, so in the end it would be better to stop dubbing.

  • @cypher010101 I strongly disagree. The problem often lies in the translation; the voiceovers may be great but often the translations are wrong and it ruins the entire point of the scene. Why stop at dubbing? Why not CGI edit over the actor's faces and make everyone Brad Pitt or George Clooney? Or why not make everyone's voice like James Earl Jones? I'll tell you why: because it's a bad idea. You wouldn't change the lyrics of a song in English to Italian, so why do it for movies?

  • 'MON THE BEGBIE LOLOLOLOL

  • begbie e un coglione

  • SSSSSSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY

  • shite......stop raping movies..stop translating..for fucks shake

  • "SIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!"

    lol

  • I pissed myself at that

  • Aye this only works properly in Scots

  • Aye you're right

  • fucking english mon p[iss off

  • Begbie is a legend. His war cry before kicking the cheeky cunt in the bollocks reminds me of braveheart.

He could lead me into battle anyday

  • yeah haha. It only really works in Scottish English

  • piangere!!!!!!

  • Just doesn't sound as good in Italian!

  • neanche si faceva di droga lui si faceva di gente.... VAAAAAA BENE VA BENE VA BENE che scena!!! hahaha i prefer that one with scots accent though its much more touching lol

  • KI KAZZO SEI TU??..siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
