Check again about your first statement, boyo. Yanks have made playoff appearances 15 of the last 16 seasons. That's pretty damn good if you ask me. When it comes down to winning the big series in the last decade, the only two teams to win are the Red Sox and the Yanks. I'm not complaing though; I'm just statin' facts. Cheers.

Yes 15 out of 16 is pretty damn good its excellent imo but you should do that when having the highest salary in baseball history. fyi not hating on the salary i would do same thing just say though they better get there with that much.

Yeah I know. Yanks pay top dollar for players, but they're not the only team that has a desire to win a ring; other teams are down right hungry for it. Thus, those other teams go all out in the post season. lol

When it comes to Yankee spending, I am a realist; buying top players will get you a spot in the playoffs, but it's no guarantee that you'll win the WS. They have the means to be an awesome team, but theyre exhausting time, energy, and money in wrong places. =) lol
