The cable at game stop that's yellow white and red only plays umd's videos and not games. The cable that has the green cable will support both umds and games but you will need a brand new Tv that has the I think 5 wire inputs.

If you go this way in this video will you be able to play games to with a 3 color input?

@os2kfmqnub um ur wrong. the 3 wire is able to show games also ONLY if u have a psp 3000, which i do. there is also a way to input the stuff on the screen with a usb cable, although i can never figure it out.

Some of you people are absolute idiots...

The original PSP 1001 (phat) model does not support the AV cable, making this the only way to put your PSP on the screen without buying the newer models.

Also, this allows you to connect a PS2 controller to it so you don't have to deal with holding the PSP in that bulky case.
