The United States of America was in no way shape or form designed to be religious. It was designed for individual FREEDOMS. Freedom of Speech, Religion, etc., and the only way to accomplish these freedoms was to create a secular and religious-neutral government. Annie Laurie is correct.. it is 'We The People', and therefore not "We, and some of who are GOD CRAZIES (like Iran) who can't think for themselves people.." The motto on our money should be 'Live Long & Prosper' & 'E Pluribus Unum'.
Lungren is totally off base. His argument is as weak as a new-born colt. For at least 60 years, we have relied on christian presidents and Congress to advance the human condition. They have failed.
