they did this live back in 1999 at the Ohio show on the Pop Trash tour. my friends and i freaked. we were so excited, dancing like crazy, singing/screaming along. lots of fun. plus we had front row seats which made it better and it was the only night they performed this song on that tour. this has always been on of my fave Duran songs. love it so much. the chorus is especially catchy. la la la late bar r r, la la la la la la

You are so very welcome. I almost CRIED when I saw the set list before they went on that night. I knew Late Bar was coming up, so luckily, I made sure my husband was ready with the camera. :-) (I was too busy spazzing out & dancing)

I almost cried when I heard the beginning! I don't like to know the set list because I like the element of surprise! I barely took any pictures or video because I wanted to be in the moment, so thanks to your husband I can keep reliving this moment! When I see them on the east coast my husband does it for me too (the only good reason to have him there..lol)~!

I agree. Besides him filming & driving, there is no good reason for my husband to come to a show. ;-) He doesn't even really like DD... *gasp*! (And we flew to the west coast from NJ just to see DD 3X, so I think you & I have quite a few things in common) :-)

I love Andy....but he is not with them, regardless of the reasons.....Dom is one hell of guitar player and I believe, brings a refreshing youth to the rest of the band. There will never be nothing like the original five, unfortunately we are not in the 80's anymore.......Andy is the past, Dom just may be the future.

And if anyone is gonna be perfect......it's gonna be my bastid......

Great to hear it, but Andy plays this song a hell of a lot better than Dom. He's not even playing one of the most important guitar parts of the song! Yes, it's finally true.....Dom Brown is NOT perfect!

Actually, I think Dom brings his own interpretation to the song, instead of just playing by rote. Oh, and some people do think Dom is perfect! (just ask the screaming fans in the crowd!)
