Because Shawn Johnson was in Dancing with the Stars, She didn't have time to get back to the gym and made a decision not to go back to the Gymnastics world.

sadly i don't expect the US to win at worlds in october. While China has been training never taking a break or relaxing america's best gymnasts (shawn johnson and nastia luikin) have been taking it easy and are now out of shape. It would be a miracle if the us gymnasts get into shape by october but lets hope for the best :D
