@GuitrumVideos how do you find the keyboard? i read a review that really damned the keyboard, it said that it was too small, the keys are to close together and that the keys are slippy and aren't great for gaming. Do you find this to be true at all or do you think that the keyboard is absolutly fine for gaming?

@1Drummer88 you can get the g53jw if you think it's too big. this comp is 8 lbs, if you don't mind carrying that then you're good lol. the g53jw is the same as this laptop only it's 15.6inches and I believe doesn't come with blu-ray. You can add it in though at xoticpc.com

This is an Amazing Laptop, My husband Ordered it for me, unfortunately the company we got it from tried to Fuck me over, Not only was the laptop Tampered with, but the users Manual was broken and it was Missing 500 gigs, It also had a History of being used and a Recovery was made, what gave it away at first was when I turned it on it asked me to start windows normally. Fortunately I caught this and comfronted the Manager, now I'm awaiting the new one... we Returned the Original one they sent...

how is the NVIDIA running? i mean we all know ATI 5870 is much better. also it sounds like the gaming mouse comes standard too or only in a certain version of the g73? because with the last model it was the A2 i believe that came with the mouse & backpack. its still expensive 1700 dollars but in a way for the next what 4-5 years ill be using it in a way its a good notebook.

@akosigloc9 Guitrumvideo said it took a week and a half for him to get the laptop. if some one wants to get the laptop as soon as possible then there is rush production and 2 -3 days shipping procedure at xoticpc. sonicflood told me rush is for 49$ and 2 day shipping is 64$. so if you didn't pay for these fast shipping's then don't worry. like guitrum said you will get the laptop within two weeks.

@Shawntika just looked at a vid and Xoticpc's website tech page on the g73. The mute/VDown/VUp are FN+F10/11/12. In that order. Some laptops have them right on them but i have been used to the FN keys forever lol. May take a lil but you will get used to it

Thank's for someone finally showing the G73JW-A1 model and not the JH. I'm not a hater I just prefer the JW model more lol. Getting to see the mouse and pointing out the fact that the tilt bar is a lot better being split up is great information to know.The fact that you got it from XoticPC.com has definatly made my day.

@sonicflood80103 Eveything is perfect in this laptop but there is one thing which it lacks and that is mute, volume up and down. i use these three button heavily in my current laptop. G73JW doesn't have it in the button format. we have to press fn+f11/f12. i wonder how to get used to that.

@GuitrumVideos Ummmm.No. I'm not an AW fan but I get tired of the ASUS / Sager / MSI gaming wannabes out there slamming AW for nothing. If you remember the 'holy' G73JH had the BSOD / GSOD / vBIOS / ATI catalyst / Screen / Slow-down and overheating with stock thermal paste issues. Beyond that, a poorly implemented keyboard and a poorly implemented "backlighting" that requires a function key to be pressed to light up.

@GuitrumVideos Also, with this rendition (JW) they finally figured it would be a good idea to have the backlighting come on prior to the login screen! Wow what a great idea. Now there are sources banging on the poor keyboard. Check out some of the reviews and you can see gaps in the build. C'mon it's a good machine? Hey, you play with it, it does what you want, good. Don't go bashing other rigs because glass houses and all of that. BTW I hate Dell.

@youthe123456789 its not necessary, HDD (Hard Disc Drive) is pretty much standard nowadays, but SSD (Solid Slate Drive) is faster, yet more expensive. its all about your personal preference/how much you are willing to pay.
