The only ppl that say MMA is killing boxing are MMA promoters when in fact MMA has very little effect on boxing. It's like saying the rise of soccer has an effect on Rugby. Boxing does not have a corporation like the UFC but still a top boxing fight will out sell any mma top fight by miles the appertite for boxing is always there. It's just the top fighters have not always been fighting each other and with a lot of money there is a lot of politics. The thing the UFC does is promote its fighters as the best which is very questionable. I have never been impressed with Lesnar allowing James Toney to fight.

Not one event has even come to as close as the excitement you could see and see when watch Manny Pacquio fighting at the weekend. 70000 between two boxers that were not even American that were the main event. Audley Harrison VS David Haye even though it was predictable fight sold out in 12 hrs 20000 seats. So your theory is incredibly wrong.
