I didnt go see this, i love horror movies but anything that has to do with the devil i dont watch it. Went through that crap myself and dont wanna go through it again..my friend did see it though. she said she like it but it was the ending that killed it.

Evil Dead 2 is easily one of the best cult movies I can think of and one of the first and best examples of horror mixed with some comedic element. The first one in particular was made with zero budget and still managed to be quite scary with very simple effects by any of today's standards and that to me, says alot about the quality of film making.

I think people are interested in this idea, cause the exorcist did it so well, they wanted to see more. problem is - the excorcist did it too well, and every movie thats comes since seems like a half ass attempt at a popcorn scare - instead of a truely scary movie. theres a huge difference between someone walking up behind you and screaming to startle you, and being alone at 3 am, turning off the light, and being afraid of the dark - when you know theres nothing there. movies need to learn that.

The best Exorcism movie is without a shadow of a doubt, the original, the classic - The Exorcist starring Linda Blair. The scene where the devil disguises himself as a homeless man to Father Merrin and then later reveals himself through Regan still brings shivers down my spine. These modern Exorcism movies are nothing when compared to the original.
