i support everything you've done except creatine thing....i really respect and appreciate your effort and determination, but when one stops training just wait and see how will creatine do good for that person. All that abs and biceps will melt down, you'll have a piece of ham, not a biceps.
@albundy3331 I beg to differ. You just watched this video. Now go to my website, teamripped . com, and the cover photo of me (which actually looks MORE muscular than the results I had in this video) is after 6 months with no supplements at all besides whey protein, shakeology, and a recovery drink. I didn't melt at all when I stopped using creatine. But that's just my take on it. Let everyone make their own decision. Bring it!
You are my coach and I was taking the Amplified Creatine XXX from GNC, but then noticed it had 33 grams of sugar so I switched to exactly what you said the monohydrate with no sugar, The guy at the store told me that the one I switched to would retain water. Is that a problem for you. I am using the lose it Ap to track my food, and have been on this 12 days following the diet you laid out to a T. I havent really lost any weight, but have noticed a differnce in my body. Any Suggestions?
So I am currently not doing P90X, i just got done with it and I have some of the P90X recovery formula left. I am still working out in my school everyday. Is it like any other muscle recovery and gaining muscle drink or do I have to use it ONLY when I do P90X? My main question is can I drink it and will it work even If im not doing p90x?
I'm heading for phase 3 of P90X next wk. This will be make it or break it. Haven't missed a wk'out yet and I'm not about to now! Thanks for the inspiration man just looking at your before and after pictures makes me want to strive to be at my very best! God Bless man!
Well Day 1 of P90X is over and watching you with your family is very inspiring. I to am doing this to get healthy and fit. As a disabled veteran the program is going to be very challenging but videos like this inspire me to dig my heels in and fight.
@ThePichmond Sure! Come look in the "motivation" tab on my website, teamripped . com, and check out all the success stories. You have to stay committed to get to your goals.
@PermanentMarkerism Cuz I've been at my 5,000 friend limit for quite some time now :/. LOL. That's also why in the video above I give you instructions on how to come join my teamRIPPED "Like" page so we can interact :-).
You changed a big part of your life and you look great. Inspired me to rededicate myself to P90X and just now on week 1, but thanks for the video! Really inspired me!
I wanna get going on P90x again. I'm 17 what advice would you give me. And do you think that I will get the same type of results without the shakes and supplements?
@HardcoreFood1 My advice is to bring it!! And you can get good results. Supplements help you maximize results (read my article "why supplement?" on my website for more).
heyy man i have a really though time doing pull ups in my house it is my 2nd week do u have any advice i'm tall and skinny and it is hard fro me to get a proper form
@AddictingProduction Yeah man go for it. I just turned 14 years old and im on my second round of p90x. All it takes is determination, dedication, and to follow the p90x health guide. Your diet is probably the most important part of p90x to getting ripped. And make sure to Bring It!
@puffdaddyasd If you want to get the best results you can, i would reccomend the nutriten guide. but my first round of p90x i just ate good food and nothing bad. but now that im in the second round i decided to do the nutriten guide and i can see the results already and im only 15 days into it!
This along with a few other videos is the reason I started P90X about 2 weeks ago. Although for the time being I am not following the P90X diet guide as I can't afford it right now, I figure if I still eat well I should get some results. So far in just 2 weeks I no longer need to make medication for diabetes. This program is beyond words. I'm also thinking of trying a Vegan diet for a month or so to see how I like it an to see if I can drop some fat. About to check your website now.
It's good to see people with the drive! I started doing the insanity work-out a few days ago after getting off the scale and seeing 290!! I'm only 5'11" so I decided it was time for a change not only for me but, for my family.
@ItalianWarrior777 No way! Life is too short to screw yourself up. I did this to get healthy and fit, not just for looks. I'm not a bodybuilder or anything. I just want to be the most fit and muscular I can be with natural foods, clean eating, and dedication to the workouts.
@nolandubya Natural foods? :D Truly, the last photo shows that without supplements its not possible. Specially at night(Which food can supply proteins to your body all night?). I am not saying, that supp. are not natural, they surely are. :)
Awesome work, man. I have the P90X program, but have fallen off the horse a couple of times. It is tough to make it a habit, so as you say, "You can't make someone have the desire." I applaud your discipline. I will be there with you soon as I start again today. Watching these videos for motivation.
im on p90x on my 3rd week and 3rd day. im seeing results :D i can really see my deltoids comming out and my collar bone is a lot more visible. my love handles have shrunk and my thigh muscles are comming out a bit more. i really love p90x. two-a-day work outs for me :)
Every time I start the Insanity program I end up with strained calves. The pain keeps me from training for days on end. Now I am scared to try the program anymore. I really enjoy it when I am not hurt. What do you do to prevent calf strains on the Insanity program?
@instructorarmijo im no specialist but I would just recommend stretching out you calves for a few minutes. maybe some calf raises and jumping jacks. and dont push your body so far. you want to be able to stay in the game and be able to move still. dont hurt yourself and then cant do anything at all. just take it slow and let your body get used to the workouts :). Hope I kind of helpped :)
It is not an hour a day. On weight lifting days you have to do 20 minutes of Ab Ripper X which adds 20 minutes to the hour and Yoga X days are 1 hour 30 mins.
@JoeL61885 LOL, most lift workouts are 50 min-55 min, and ARX is 15 (so 1:05-1:10 on lift days). Then you have Kenpo that is less than an hour, and of course an entire rest day that is 0:00 hours. So 7 hours per week or just under. :-). Sorry if I mislead anyone by leaving off those extra couple minutes!!
16 years, 6 ft, 156 lbs... I have som workout skills, can do a lot workout on rack... Can do one muscle up... Working out hard I could say.. But i have problem, cant gain muscle mass on my chest... its bad, I sleep enough, I eat lot of proteins in meat and so... Any advices? thanks.
@1freshlx dont stay at one weight.and dont workout your chest every day or even every other day.maybe twice a week the most.and everytime you work it out.do different workouts.flys, benchpress, dumbell press, incline press, pushups.and do 8-12 reps.if you start out with 135lbs warm up for benchpress(bar) next time add 5 more lbs.and so on itll confuse your muscles.hope I helpped.I used to love bench pressing. My max was 285lbs in highschool.I stopped to try and get lean so now i can maybe hit 235lbs
yo, I started P90X, but....I wasn't motivated. I'm good enough shape that I don't have to do it for looks. So the motivation wasn't there. And then because of that i would skip workouts (weeks at a time!). What did you use to keep yourself motivated even at peek health? Please reply!
Hey I started p90x and I'm on my third week. However I havent been consistant on workouts. I've always made some stupid excuses not to do it. Anyways since phase 2 is coming and I havent even done some of the dvds i was wondering whether i should restart doing p90x from day 1 or just continue?
@tomglavinehof1 Yes, isn't that wild! I am in the P90X2 vids now and the P90X infomercial. Who would have ever known all this would happen when I decided I was tired of being fat LOL!
@sergiomats Yes, I am a Christian. Yes, I'm telling you the truth about my results. And yes, I will encourage you to do this for yourself even though your comment is clearly accusational in tone :-). No BS ;-)
Man, you got JACKED. I graduated high school in 2010 (about to turn 21) and I went from being 6'3" 220lbs to 6'3" 258lbs, got LAZY. I gotta get on this.
I start doing P90x 4 days ago! Today I did Yoga x but I couldn't do it right! its very difficult, I don't have any flexibility or strength, how you did the 3 day yoga? good with mistakes? please can you give me an advice?
What would you prefer doing first. Just P90X or the P90X/insanity hybrid. And I weigh around 225 25% body fat and I want to lose 40-50 lbs in the next 4 months doing(3 months P90X, 1 month Asylum). But from what i hear, it's only healthy losing 8 lbs a month so thats only 32lbs in 4 months. But you lost like what 45lbs in 90 days and i'm pretty sure you didnt feel unhealthy lol. But what i'm getting at is, it's possible to lose more than 10 lbs of fat a month right?
I've got to give you props for responding to so many people on here and how much work you put into your website, it's impressive. You have motivated me in a big way. I did P90X and ate carefully 2 years ago and lost 50 lbs. Unfortunately I have gained 30 of it back and I just started it P90X and careful eating again. I am determined to get farther than I did last time, and I believe I will. Thanks for the motivation. PS, the fact that you're a Christ follower motivates me even more!
hi guys ... i just started the p90x two days ago, and i wondered if i have to follow a strict diet? cuz really i dont want to (and most probably, wouldn't fulfill it).. i mean, i will definitely cut less burguers lol, and bad foods, but i mean, i will eat my 3 meals on home with what they serve me.. i am 146lbs and 23% body fat... i want to get 6 pack (primary goal), but losing extra pounds is also very welcome... (my goal is to get to 130lbs, but any under 140lbs is fine to give me motivation.)
@alex001234 If you want a 6 pack, then YES you have to follow a strict diet. Notice that most people don't have 6 packs. It's cuz junk food won't get you a six pack!! I followed a very strict diet. Results speak for themselves :-)
im 13 and in eighth grade is it ok for me to get p90x because i really have the attitude for it and im set on getting it and im not fat im only 165 pounds and 6"0 tall but i was wondering that if i get it will it work for me faster than an over weight person such as a morbidly obese person but is it safe for me to buy it and use it
power 90 or p90x for a 15 year old? i did p90x for 65 days but i quit because it was just too hard. im in pretty good shape, but i want a buff mans opinion
Coach, your before and after photos are amazing!! If you got in that much in tremendous shape with a Beautiful Wife, Five Kids AND a dog in tow, I have NO excuses!! NONE!! You motivated me to be more consistent in round 1 in P90X and to really crack down on more healthier food choices. Thanks for the inspiration man!!
your my biggest motivation!! amazing transformation. i just ordered p90x and i was wondering did you use shakeology or any other suppliments ? plz let me know thanks
@mrciviceg6 Thanks! Yes, I used Shakeology. Look on my website, teamripped . com, and you'll see the supplements I used in my "nutrition zone". Hope that helps!
I was wondering, when you did your first round or any of your rounds did you ever do any extra chest workouts or did you strictly stick to the p90x and other programs? Thank you
So were you doing both insanity, and p90x at the same time? If so, I'm guessing you did one first thing in the morning, then the second in the evening?
@oscarfreak No, I did just P90X the whole first round, and then for round 2 I did a P90X Insanity hybrid (see the schedule I used on my website, teamripped . com, under the "workout zone" tab).
Im a 17 year old male. Im not overweight or anything i just want my muscle tone back that i lost over winter. Would this program still be effective for me?
Man!!!! I'm not exagerating but I watch your video and I get inspired to continue doing my workout, It gets my hopes up, I know that if I'm determine I'll get in shape 4 life!!!!
hey coach, thank you for your advice, i'm going with the Classic. However, i got more questions, i'm starting with protein+creatina+bcaa from Optimum Nutrition, my question is: How should i drink this supplements? Should I start creatine on the first and the second phase? or in the second and the third? I already have a good diet with a personal nutritionist based on the p90x guide, i was thinking about taking them once a day, bcaa+creatine before, protein after wrkout, What's your opinion?thks!
Wow!! I started p90X today and in my head is the thought that I ain't gonna to make it. I really look foward to having a transformation that changes my life, but I have twin babies and I have to wait till 11 or 12 at nite to exercise and Im always tired and Sometime I dont have time to eat:(
@ivylamejor I see your comment, but what I really see is that no one has answered you. Realize that if you are in incredible shape, on top of being fit for your kids and your own sake, life will just be so much more enjoyable. Having a healthy body and mind is the key to happiness. Just picture yourself at the finish line. Wait for it in anticipation just like you did when your babies were inside you :). Hope this helps. BRING IT!
@haley12351 Note that: U gain weight as u gain muscle.
Muscle = heavier then fat.
U will gain weight for sure, but lose fat. if you dont lose fat, transform ur diet.
Eat small portions through the day,I eat 4x a day: Morning 3 slices of bread with 1L water. 3Hours later (mostly 12 o'clock) 2 Slices of bread with egg on them (I vary with banana on it).
Dinner, then 3-4h after dinner I eat again, mostly something like rice with a little chicken(no white rice).
@Littlelambism Quite sure LOL! I wrote down everything for all 180 days (what workout I did, my weights and reps, what I ate, etc.). So yes, I'm very sure!
I wish I have a beachbody coach but I'm from Latin America =(

yo, I started P90X, but....I wasn't motivated. I'm good enough shape that I don't have to do it for looks. So the motivation wasn't there. And then because of that i would skip workouts (weeks at a time!). What did you use to keep yourself motivated even at peek health? Please reply!
chinchillas1000 3 weeks ago
@chinchillas1000 I would do it anyways, whether I felt like it or not :-)

Hey I started p90x and I'm on my third week. However I havent been consistant on workouts. I've always made some stupid excuses not to do it. Anyways since phase 2 is coming and I havent even done some of the dvds i was wondering whether i should restart doing p90x from day 1 or just continue?
CrazySGgibson 3 weeks ago
@CrazySGgibson If you haven't been consistent, start over with day 1 and commit to doing every workout by the calendar without skipping. Bring it!
nolandubya 3 weeks ago
I saw that there is a program called INSANITY. are you using that program also. or is it only the P90X? ;-)
lasse7900 3 weeks ago
@lasse7900 Sorry! i just read in the description that you doing both :D
But, how long are you doing each program? i mean 1 month(P90X) and the next month(INSANITY) ? :-)
lasse7900 3 weeks ago
@lasse7900 I was doing a hybrid with P90X lift days and Insanity cardio days. Check it out on my website in the "workout zone" tab.

FyruzProductions 1 month ago

(my goal is to get to 130lbs, but any under 140lbs is fine to give me motivation.)
alex001234 1 month ago
@alex001234 If you want a 6 pack, then YES you have to follow a strict diet. Notice that most people don't have 6 packs. It's cuz junk food won't get you a six pack!! I followed a very strict diet. Results speak for themselves :-)

hey coach, thank you for your advice, i'm going with the Classic. However, i got more questions, i'm starting with protein+creatina+bcaa from Optimum Nutrition, my question is: How should i drink this supplements? Should I start creatine on the first and the second phase? or in the second and the third? I already have a good diet with a personal nutritionist based on the p90x guide, i was thinking about taking them once a day, bcaa+creatine before, protein after wrkout, What's your opinion?thks!
howevu 1 month ago in playlist Uploaded videos
@howevu Do the creatine for the second and third phase. That sounds fine.

Wow!! I started p90X today and in my head is the thought that I ain't gonna to make it. I really look foward to having a transformation that changes my life, but I have twin babies and I have to wait till 11 or 12 at nite to exercise and Im always tired and Sometime I dont have time to eat:(
ivylamejor 1 month ago
@ivylamejor I see your comment, but what I really see is that no one has answered you. Realize that if you are in incredible shape, on top of being fit for your kids and your own sake, life will just be so much more enjoyable. Having a healthy body and mind is the key to happiness. Just picture yourself at the finish line. Wait for it in anticipation just like you did when your babies were inside you :). Hope this helps. BRING IT!

haley12351 1 month ago
@haley12351 Then your diet is the problem. Look at my website in the "nutrition zone" to learn how to dial in your diet for max results.
nolandubya 1 month ago
@haley12351 Note that: U gain weight as u gain muscle.
Muscle = heavier then fat.
Drink water through the day
