  • @gingercatz Oh yes...this cake freezes beautifully :) You can keep it wrapped in the freezer for a couple months.

  • Could I use this for carving 3D cakes? Any tips?

  • @rebekah202003 yes you could use this cake for 3D cakes. When it comes to making 3D cakes, it would be best to cut your pound cake into the shape you will need, while it is partially frozen. When you're ready to add the frosting, I also suggest that you put the cake in the freezer for 30 minutes or so. This will help prevent the crumbs on the cut edges from coming loose and mixing into your frosting. Hope this helps :)

  • @meluv2cook I have a video/recipe for butter cream frosting on my channel. It is so quick and easy and delicious on pound cake.I will also be posting the recipe for my Mocha Butter cream in the next couple of weeks.
