Boss abuses camera edge to blind-strike the player character, gets whipped in the middle of the face and dropped crates onto his head only to respond with a daring cross of his arms, shouts "Vanessa, hey!" to the prisoners, player character does a mean face but regains normal expression before he pulls the lever, beast looks nothing other than a panther-gorilla hybrid, boss cries out "Why? Why?! WHY?!" as he's dragged off, prisoners light stone and steel on fire...

Ehm, Monkey Island doesn't look better. Prince of Persia does have awesome graphics for it's time, but it didn't have the immersity Another World had. Strictly speaking about the first game, as this one is sucky, compared to how many people were involved in it's development.

what a fucking let down, I resisted watching this for so long because i was dedicated to play it all the way through one day. today I caved in and im glad because that was a half assed sequel wrap up. The founder of the series stated that this game was like a parallel universe of the original because he wanted to have the first one to have an open ending.. the development of this game had nothing to do with the founder except his suggestion of lesters death but he regretted it later on so this isn't canon. Bloodbath fails to realize there are plenty of epic old games out there and plenty of new games that are ungodly pieces of shit out there. He was almost certainly from a spoon-fed generation of video gamers that cannot handle old-school gaming and can't even spell Atari, genesis, Amiga, SNES, etc. Or even write comprehensibly for that matter. The ending definitely disappointed me. To see the main character die off didn't do the game justice. The alien world back to a peaceful bliss was excruciating to watch especially at the expense of LESTER.

Bloodbath fails to realize there are plenty of epic old games out there and plenty of new games that are ungodly pieces of shit out there. He was almost certainly from a spoon-fed generation of video gamers that cannot handle old-school gaming and can't even spell Atari, genesis, Amiga, SNES, etc. Or even write comprehensibly for that matter. It would be rather absurd to see the aliens build a synchrotron and try to duplicate the conditions that brought Lester to their world.
Then again, it would've been interesting ... the experiment is recreated and Lester escapes the alien world and goes into ... Space Quest XII: Vohaul's Revenge II?!

This game was ridiculously hard, it was even harder to win than the first one, but this game doesnt live up the first one at all, so the corny ending is not too much of a let down.

I think he died because if he does not , he has to come back to his own world , so it's an other game -_- ... and at the end when lester get burned , i think it's a kind of elimination of the corpse to get the ashes ( don't remember the name of that thing , actually , i'm French :p )
