  • Somebody get this guy a Pabst, stat!

  • Who knew this scene could get even more disturbing ?!

  • At first its funny but as the scene rolls on it starts getting creepy I have to say David Lynch was right.

  • Baby wants to f*k ! Baby wants to f*k the Blue Velvet !

  • EAT THAT PUSSY

  • To bad they didn't stay on with the Helium... that's creepy, cool and I can't help it... everytime I write something, I imagine someone doing this

  • As the original creator of this clip I'm glad it lives on even though YouTube made me take it down.

  • Lynch was rite..it was betterr...Baby wants to fuck

  • He was a sick fuck either way.He should have took home the gold for that role

  • Definitely creepier.

  • Frank Booth: hopeless romantic.

  • mindstorm your comment cracked me the F up ! :)

  • just goes to show you...lynches ideas was far more twisted!

  • That is really creepy...

  • "Now it's dark"

  • They should have went with David's vision, this is much more creepy :|

  • Oh jesus.

And I thought Frank Booth couldn't get more frightening!

  • This might be more disturbing.

  • True

  • This is terrifying, probably more so than the original

  • does he dry hump her or actually rape her?

  • @phototristan He does zip up his pants, so I guess it's the real thing.

  • does he dry hump her or actually rape her?

  • Original Blue Velvet: Freaky

    This Video: LOL WUT

  • I just watched him talking about the helium detail on another video where he asked to imagine that performance. That movie would have been terrifling! FFUUUUUUCCKKKKKK!

  • I wanted to do this, you cheeky bastard.

  • twitchy video.

  • @UpInTheTreehouse Honestly, it doesn't really matter all that much because the end result was both funny and terrifying, plus Dennis was fantastic.Lynch was also afraid that Helium would result in audience laughter and only get one response. I've always enjoyed the fact that whatever Frank was inhaling is never revealed in the movie. for all we know, he could've been breathing in fresh air, or nothing at all, lol. It's the ambiguity and open endedness that makes it subjective and so intriguing.

  • Now you have to do the scene where they are in the car!

  • it kind of turns him into Pesci ...

  • Trippy. It is better.

  • The script was originally written to use helium cause the director never used drugs so he didn't know what would derange the senses

  • @swiftverbicide actually lynch had done drugs (art student/60s....make connection)..... however even hopper said himself that the idea of helium was such a better idea than his own

  • @blough27 that last statement didn't make sense to me.. wasn't it Dennis Hopper who had the idea to not use helium? then why would Dennis Hopper say the helium idea was better... maybe I'm getting my facts twisted.. mind you, It was a little while ago since i researched it.. so i can't remember

  • It was amyle nitrate

  • YAY!

  • now this is fucking scary man

  • man, that scene totally makes sense now. Frank returns to a baby state! Wow! they should have done it this way.

  • Whoa...this is even creepier...

  • It sounds funny at first, but this dude is just too scary to find funny by anything else than "Pabst! Blue Ribbon!", and the Velvet in Frank's mouth with the helium was amazing. The Transformation from Baby to Frank would probably have made Frank Booth the scariest Mo-Fo alive, but that's not saying he isn't.

  • He sounds like Joe Pesci!!

  • OMG! I don't know whether this is funny or absolutely scary... therefore, you must be a genius!

  • Good job sir! I always wondered....now i know.

The soundtrack music behind it remains the same - even the sound effect of him breathing in the mask remains unchanged. This means you would have had access to the original actors audio tracks in order to just pitch Franks voice up.

So the most logical conclusion I can come to is that this IS an alternate take that you somehow had access to. Fantastic -- where'd you get it?

Am I wrong? It just seems impossible unless you had the original tracks to tamper with.

    great post

  • @GawdMachine There is a lot of programs on the internet that allow one to alter the pitch or tone of something. It's conceivable with programs more than anything, but the alternate take is still pretty interesting.

  • @GawdMachine You can hear the sounds in the background change as well.

  • How did u manage to make this scene even more disturbing? Kudos...
