We have a house of cards economy. The housing bubble burst and they are now reinflating it with a "Home Buyers" tax credit to raise the price of homes. This is really meant for home sellers. Labor laws prevent us from being a production based economy. The only way out is to let a complete collapse happen and wipe out all the illusory debt, which Barrack Obama admits exists. Things like healthcare reform will only makes these problems worse-they further give a sense of false prosperity.
