  • you should upload more of your work

  • That is one sweet pad.

  • very nice setting, i like the mood and the slow start, but some of the acting was bad and the some shots were unnecessary. also the script was well written

  • Congrats on being accepted! I'm looking into Tisch too and I was wondering, if its not too personal, what your high school SAT scores and GPA were?

  • That was great, amazing, but who died?

  • @MonteaDavid

    the dog ;)

  • Ha, nice twist! That was awesome!

  • maybe in the beginning some faded images of graves would of helped...

  • graduate or undergraduate??

  • that was good shit man how did you get the camera motions to be so smooth? watch my NYU apllication for this fall and tell me what you think

  • Hey I have this say this is really good!!! I don't know much about making movies or anything but still... I'm becoming a freshman college student this fall and I want to major in film production. but i have no idea how to make one lol. I have been doing a lot of research though and asking around. Watching videos like yours!!! anyway i wanted to know did you take any classes on making film or internships? or is this just the result of self hard work over time?

  • never took any film classes and no internships, just got a camera when i was younger, started filming shit, and taught myself how to edit with moviemaker and then worked up to better programs.

(soph in college now) Not doin film now tho. heh.

film is loads of fun, i bet you'll enjoy it!

  • i really enjoyed this especially the cinematography.

the acting on the other hand(your "friend's" was a little ... :/) i got a bit of a gay vibe even though im guessing it wasnt intended

i actualyl loved the "slow" beginning with perfect musi,.

  • hahahaha gay vibe!! def not intended, but i can understand if u see that lol.

thanks. i think the intro is my favorite part of the movie too

wasnt rushing when i filmed it.

  • very good, i'm going to apply this year

  • you thought it was over didn't you?

never thought you would see me again?

your day of judgment has come.

    (ch-chick)

    good bye finch.

    (bang)

  • good stuff. Are you an M Night fan?

  • yea MNight's the man.

  • mmmmmmm......

    night

    soooooo gooooood

  • I really like this film, it's got amazing cinematography. I love your location (I have no idea how you managed it).

What was the music you used?

The acting was sub-par, and the begining, while it was very.. visual dynamic, was a little slow, but it still really is a great film.

not that I know everything about filmmaking.

I'm thinking of applying to tisch. How did you afford a Panasonic AG-DVX100A?

  • thanks!

the music was from freeplaymusic...just chose some random stuff.

haha yea the actors are my friends who have no idea how to act.

you should def apply to Tisch. im not going there, but its a SWEET school.

haha as for the camera. i just begged my parents for that when i was in middle school.

  • Great use of freeplay music lol.

  • what did you use for an editing program?

you did a great job on this

  • Premiere Pro

  • you said you used the Panasonic AG-DVX100A, did you just happen to own it? I'm thinking about making an application video, but I haven't got the necessary equipment, nor the money to procure it. Is there a way to rent?

  • oh btw ur locations where fantastic especially the apartment :) very professional

  • Thankyou! You can find Tisch stuff on the NYU website so just google NYU Tisch or something..

haha im too lazy to link u.. and i dont think there is a GPA cutoff, although 50%grades and 50% portfolio seems to be tha way they determine rejection and acceptance at Tisch.

Turns out im not going to Tisch next year, and im not pursuing film, so goodluck with your endeavor.

    thanks again for your comments!

  • what are you doing then?

  • YO MUDDHA!

  • wow amazing job!!! i loved the turn at the end! i thought he had commited suicide... brilliant work your gonna make it in the industry based on this :D im a gonna be a junior in highschool and i want to apply there where can i find there requirements? and what gpa do you need minimum?

  • Looks like we'll be at Tisch together next year! Great film!

  • Ahh so cool. I aspire to go to Tish, but i am only a junior currently and am deciding between film or acting.

  • hey im applying next year. What was your gpa. if you dont mind me asking

  • Did you get in ?

It's a bit cliche, this movie (I mean, the dialogue and a a little lack of character depth and their past history, especially with each other), but it's a great start. The mood is portrayed well, very poetic, it has a lot of good cinematography... The shower sequence especially.

Hope this is constructive criticism, unlike others "this movie is amazing"... they will only hurt you as a director.

Btw, I am starting grad Tisch film this fall. Comment back.

  • Yes i got in. Haha yea the acting was tough cuz it was just my friends and they rly didnt have any prior acting experience. The whole movie was scripted, filmed, and editted in 3 weeks before the deadline, so it was pretty rushed too. hahaha and yea thanks for the criticism, its very helpful!

  • Ah, that's awesome... So see you there (I'll be in graduate dept). Name's Alexander Kukharenko

  • That was incredible! You should be so proud of yourself.

  • nice. See you at Tisch

  • Nice composition.

  • sweet film, what camera are you using?

  • Thanks!

    Panasonic AG-DVX100A

  • Hey! I applied to NYU also for Undergrad film. This film is awesome! Good luck with everything, I hope you get in!

  • Thanks! Good luck to you too!

  • damn

    this movie is amazing!!

haha i remember all of those places

  • LMAO at first i thought the comment b4 mine was sevryn, ahahahha. Awesomeness, hope u get in x]

  • HAHA PUFFIN YOU PUT IT UP :) :)
