  • what's the name of the concerto at the end of the clip?

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx Shut the F*** up! Do you even realize what you are saying. Jesus F***ing Christ man. Are you trying to be crazy. @TheMysicalnymph Good Job at trying to shut him up. He is a lunatic.

  • @Godgames23 go fuck ur mom, fucking jew

  • @Godgames23 Thanks, but he won't shut the f*** up!! Wanna help me achieve that?

  • Comment removed

  • @TheMysticalnymph Lunatic....? maybe, or so sadly starving for attention in his own life that by his comments his hoping to get attention of any kind... from any source such as here, where no one knows him. Really we must have compassion for this "human being" sooooo sad...! if attention is what he seeks we just gave it to him.... that's what compassion is all about!

  • @pat609 Yeah, you're right he clearly seems to seek attention... but in the form of hatred. I'll have compassion and give him hell!!

  • @TheMysticalnymph Well....we seem to have succeeded !! Loved that Movie and even more so the Real Wladyslaw Szpilman . Listen and watch him play to Chopin "Nocturne" observe his hands, obvious severe rheumatoid arthritis yet,his fingers... flying through the piano keys..what a talent.Chopin would have been proud.

  • @pat609 The movie is really beautiful. Now that you mention it, I'll check out Wladyslaw Szpilman; I, too, am more than sure Chopin would've been proud. :)

On the other hand, victory is OURS! *cheers*

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx Concentration camps for all those f***ing idiots out there! This includes xxxXXCH04XXXxxx the wanna-be Hitler who is a FAILURE in life!!!! Maybe with this the f***ing idiots will learn something useful and not sit around crying like a sh**ty baby!!!

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx Keep on talking you f***ed up loner freak! You know you are the one in denial of what history and records have to say to us!!! I guess you just are plain f***ing stupid to not understand history!!!!!!

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx I honestly hope that you're joking. And that you understand how you aren't funny. Every human of every color, religion, and ethnicity is still a human.

  • @musichix6 Yeah, you are most definently right on this musichix6, but don't waste time on this little screwed up insignificant creep. His own insane ideas(just read some of his stupid comments and you'll see them) will one day clash against one another ultimately destroying him; hopefully, it would be painful in the process.

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx Oh, no! I do have MANY things to write about!! But guess what? I'm just not going to give the satisfaction of attention to some bimbo b**ch who believes white supremacy is the best way to go! Smarty? Nice comeback, now wipe that off your chin!

  • @TheMysticalnymph so first u accused me of being neonazi and now of being a white supremacist, lol, that's so...jewish. jesus, we rly need a new holocaust to exterminate trash like u...

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx It is actually the same thing you f***ed up retard! Lol? You really should not treat this as some sick joke! Had they won history would've been so different!! In fact, we would've turned into albino retards for having the same DNA strands being combinated!!! You call Jewish trash? Had it not been for them, economy would've not developed properly and you would be a moron living in the streets off of people!!!

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx Neonaiz? Way yo? Dude! Learn how to f***ing write; then, we'll talk! Dickhead? I think you seriously need to get a psychiatric evaluation because, you speak like a mad man who speaks of nonsense!

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx And let me guess, you are some desperate little b***h in the need of some attention who has taken the liberty to open this to the public by turning neonazi... How wonderful! No? Seriously, go do something of importance and contributance to humanity!

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx I think the one with a problem is you. You might need to do some check up on your brain to see if it poses some mental retardation. Afterall, you can't even speak or rather spell properly!

  • @TheMysticalnymph it's funny cuz it seems u r blaming for what nazis did to ur fucking ppl, keep crying fag, that's why we need a new holocaust...

ps: there is no need to keep posting comments on my channel u cry baby moron son of a fucking jewish bitch

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx Why would you display your ignorance, closed mindedness, stupidity and bigotry for the whole world to see!?...oh yea of course you would.....!

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx Mother of God!!! You really are alive?! I thought you were dead having you never reply to my comment!!! Man, only one can wish... -.- You're lucky the Nazis are not here; they would've sent you to concentration camps for mental retardation dude!!

P.S. There is because you won't stop blabbling!!!

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx I never said I wished Nazis were here! Learn how to read and comprehend. In other words(because you are so f***ing stupid to know what it means)understand what you are reading!! The only one making a fool out of himself is YOU!! The mentally challenged, wanna-be-Hitler/white f***er!!!

  • @xxxXXXCH04XXXxxx what is wrong with u ???

  • did Wladyslaw Szpilman and Dorota date or want to date? the cafe scene is a great scene love thier chemistry, ! wished they had moments more in this film !

  • osama like that video but not now

  • @Xapmotion lol wtf osama i think mexicans are better lol

  • Who else thought he was actually playing it when the piano part came on? lol scared me half to death thinking he was going to give himself away like that

  • What song is it at 3:00? love it!!! One of my favorite scenes!

  • @martinlesniak

    Grande Polonaise Brillante

  • @martinlesniak have spent years looking for the name of that music. esepcional piece

  • Japanese were as evil as Nazis.

They abducted 200,000 Asians (also Caucasians), raped them up to 50 times a day & then buried them alive to save bullets.

Japanese govt won't apologize to any of surviving sex slaves.

In 2007, Japanese govt org bought 1 pg. of Wall Street Journal & filled it with OUTRAGEOUS LIES: 1) the females were whores who volunteered to service Japanese soldiers. 2) Japanese govt paid them more Japanese army generals.

  • so beautiful

  • What are we arguing about on here for? Just appreciate the art people.

  • Who ever said the movie' scene is fake, then you better watch out. it's either you don't play piano or you just Trying to act like a bitch... All the piano scene from the movie are real... Even this one, the grand polonaise by Chopin.

  • Comment removed

  • @adam246811 hes playing it in his head because the guy said not to make alot of noise dumbass

  • Comment removed

  • @adam246811 maybe let's not get into this, coz the piece he is imagining playing is grandise polonaise by chopin, and i played it, and i know his fingering is right... after all, this movie is great.

  • Comment removed

  • @adam246811 Hey guys, the fact that strings are playing in the background but I don't see an orchestra in the apartment clearly shows that this is fake. It's totally not supposed to be his mind imagining this as a result of isolation and being seperated from his art. Roman Polanski is just a terrible director.

  • @dmcd002 ?

  • @zezwaz sarcasm...

  • @dmcd002 i agree with PIAN0life, this is definitely metaphorical. you can go on and on about the symbolisms here - i would dispute that polanski is a terrible director - he is brilliant - the orchestra is part of the soundtrack. it has to represent szpilman's thoughts-the way it is captured-that is, so deliberately at his hands that are clearly not actually playing the piano. this suggests that its most certainly a metaphor for his longing & desperation for some kind of repose from Nazism.

  • @oldspice177

Why do you say that-- because I'm an American?

  • @JeeMcG

Thank you very much! I don't understand patriotism- no one really "chooses" what nationality they are, so how could one be proud of something you have no control over? It's silly.

  • @3:07 its so fake

  • @manilamerc ...are you retarded or is that just an act?

  • @BruceLeeKills1 im retarded. I din't know he was imagining himself

  • @manilamerc i see

  • this movie is awsome i wish i could find the ending scene someone help please

  • @3:00 beautiful scene... great song

  • "Cello suite" Bach for the violin part! ;)

  • what is the titile of the violon?

Le titre du morceau de violon svp?

  • if only he could be my piano teacher dam i wouldnt ever want to leave =D

  • Friends all the scenes of Polanski are well articulated and well thought of-- Notice the challenge of the real making the character forget the misery at least for a second

  • i have to say one thing about WWII

    FUCK HITLER

    FUCK STALIN

    FUCK LENIN

    AND FUCK MUSSOLINI

  • @ClassicMusicLives I know Hitler and Mussolini, but who was Lenin? Also what did Stalin do? Kill the men who betrayed his country and killed his people? I say Stalin did the right thing, he was crazy, but I don't think many people would show mercy either.

  • @ColeTrain4EVER Stalin ordered the systematic murder of 20,000 polish military officers who were prisoners of war at Katyn. then blamed the nazi's. thats one thing he did.

  • @rance107 When did that happen? I never heard of that.

  • @ColeTrain4EVER Google Katyn theres also a solid movie called Katyn. it occurred in 1940 as the soviets invaded Poland and shared it with Nazi's as a part of the Nazi-Soviet Pact of 1939. Russia did not admit they did it until 1990.

  • @rance107 I knew at first Germany and them were at an agreement, but I forgot both of them split Poland.

  • @ClassicMusicLives and fuck you.

  • @DaScrewUp fuck you you fucken no brainer if you knew why you would not say that

  • Wow! i guess i wasnt fully paying attention in the movie and thought he was actually playing... just nobody noticed... lol.

  • i can feel his desire!

  • The best scene,in my opinion, isn't this one. For me, it's a tie between the scene where Brody plays the piano for the nazi, or the scene not too long after it where he is shot at for wearing a german coat. That line he delivers is just classic.

    "Don't shoot. I'm polish. I'm polish."

    "So why the fucking coat?"

    "I was cold."

Brilliant stuff. Right behind Schindler's list as far as Holocaust movies go with me

  • @NomendeiNL Actually it was delivered FEDEX

  • A masterpiece! It inspires your inner soul like no other cinema - with its music, its performances, its characters and its story. The elements revel

in joy and sorrow with unfolding of each scene. Polanski a true genius!

Watch some of our shorts on youtube channel ||| mypixelstory |||

tag along with indie spirit !

  • poor thing wasnt able to actually play...

  • You may say whatever you want about Polanski. All I know is that he made some damn good movies.

  • @SeneMusician I actually agree with you

  • THIS IS NOT THE BEST SCENE!!! ALL THE SCENES ARE THE BESTS <3

  • @putocanelas If all the scenes are the best, and this is one of the scenes, then this scene is the best as well. Haha, no you're right, great film.

  • @QuickXilver LOL . This movie is one of my favourites <33

  • @KimInLosAngeles

Probably worse than the nazi's...Unit 731 is proof of it

  • 3:06 look at his fingers hahaha

  • @673497 whats so funny?

  • @Dear1Stupit1Dog didn't you see? he faked it

  • @673497 yes i did see, i was just wondering what was so funny about it

  • His smile as he plays...what an actor. Great movie! This and Schindler's List are my favorite movies dealing with the Holocaust.

  • Yeah I liked the "Nazi-with-a-heart" bit as well. "Nazi" has becoem quite a stigma, and rightfully so, but a lot of people don't realize that not all Nazi's were horrible. Only the ones who actually believed in the NAZI ideals were bad. A lot of them were just fighting because they were forced to, because they were German citizens and they had to fight for Germany.

Sorry to get all political, but just wanted to say that

  • Hate germans

  • so the guy like the piano, big deal

  • my favorite scene when he plays piano for the german soldier

  • the piano in this video is nice............what kind is it???....................every other piano used in this video is a steinway so i guess its a possibilty that that is a steinway

  • if adrien brody was an animal he'd be a greyhound..i think he's pretty yet unpretty at the same time.

  • i like the bit with the rocket launcher >:D

  • @hornpigeon that my friend is called a Panzerfaust...just to let you know. It too is one of my favorite parts in the movie :)

  • my fave scene is when he licks jam from his finger in the attic, thats unforgettable

  • I thought the scene where he played piano in front of the Nazi Captain was the best scene. It was definitely my favorite scene, at least.

  • @MSMRU man god i love this movie so much, i wish i could love it more. no offense to schindler's list, but this film makes schindler's list look like a student film...... this here is a masterpeice

  • Whats that cello music being played in the beggining of this scene???

It sounds very familiar... If anyone knows, could you please answer? It would be helpful.

    Thankyou

  • @Viccaay I'm pretty sure it's the prelude of Bach's first cello suite.

  • @Dsteve96 Thanks so much :D x

  • @Viccaay No problem. Its a great piece on Cello, just type in bach cello suite on youtube and click on the third video.

  • @Dsteve96 Thans :)

  • Um I hate to say that the only reason I saw this move is becuase of Adrien Brody. But after seeing this movie i loved him even more!

  • This surprisingly was also my favorite scene. I was scared shitless that he was going to play the piano lol.

  • We are going to finish watching this in french class tomorrow:)

  • Thumbs up if you watched this in History class at school.

  • The saving grace of music, art, literature. God help us without out!!! It is the bridge to god and our chance to be part of godly things. May we always have it!

  • My favourite scene is where the old man in the wheelchair is flung out of the window, and then the rest of the family is told to run, and as they turn away, the Nazi's open fire. I watched it in history class, and everyone's reactions to it was just amazing.

  • @Shaestel DUDE same i watched that secne in history class on onday :D i had allready seen it and every one else was just like wtf that is sick :L

  • It was sad but unfortunately so truthful and just brilliant movie-masterpiece from master Roman Polanski. He did a great job and deserved his Oscar. The same with Adrien Brody - phenomenal acting!!! The whole cast was great. The Pianist is one of my favorite War movies - along with Escape from Sobibor (1987), Schindler's List (1993), Life Is Beautiful (1997), Savior (1998) and Black Book (2006).

  • @Magnolia296 Nice list. But you should probably add Saving Private Ryan to your list. I haven't seen black book, but now that you mention it I will netflix it soon.

  • @jnachoz yes you are so right. I forgot Saving Private Ryan - another masterpiece from S.Spielberg

  • i love the movie "the pianist" more then the movie "korczak".

  • I am so sorry for the man... :(

He was a good man, a good pianist.

The actor is very good. And the movie is awesome. I cried really hard... :(

  • Adrian Brody is so striking to look at! He looks so European. And I love the contrast between his green eyes and his dark hair.

  • This is one of the best films ever made. And certainly deserved it's 3 Oscars in 2002 (Best Actor, Best Director (Polanski) and Adapted Screenplay). It's very hard to watch because it's so brutal, but to me this was one of the crowning achievements in cinema over the past three decades.

  • WARSAW <3 Pre war Warsaw <3

  • is there such a thing as a bad scene in this movie?

  • They where polish soldiers, not russians.

  • so sad

  • watched this in my us history class... i FUCKING LOVED THIS MOVIE my favorite scene was when the German soldiers gave him bread and jam i loled so hard and his face haha

  • Music is a person's pasion. Nothing can take it away from them.

  • I'm not trying to offend someone but I think yundi li plays better than him

  • i need to know the name of the first theme, please

  • @paranoidandroid1997

    bach, cello #1 Prelude

  • @Thehorrorstrikes thank you!!!

  • man what a great actor and movie, this scene when he can't make any noises and is put in a room whit a piano hahahahha this is like putting a naked woman in a room with an ex-con and he's not allowed to touch her

  • His nose, OMG his f-nose!!!

  • @nimthirielhime seems fine to me. If anything its a John Lennon nose - they both share cool talents :)

  • What's the name of the piano song at the end?

  • he doesnt hit the piano right when the music starts at 2:57 that is like a footballer making a goal without hitting the ball

  • @BadSantaXx1 he is imagining he's playing it, he cant make any noise so he is pretending to play it.

  • @BadSantaXx1 He never hits the piano AT ALL! H'es just remembering playing so as not to give himself up. Have you seen the movie or just this clip?

  • @kurtizzyflush Yes ive seen the movie when i was young cant remember it well xD but yea someone already told me what it was

  • Ooooh Adrian Brody you're amazing. The look at 1:30-1:35 is so much perfection.

  • The saddest scene i've ever seen in my life.

  • 2 things that this movie shows that i love about it:

    1. not all nazis were evil jew hating rats

    2. the jews who escaped concentration camps still suffered greatly

  • @acdcdude1015 you think the nazi soldier who "helped" him didnt kill 1000s?

  • @meshuganech He was a Nazi yes but he didn't agree with how Poles and Jews were treated so he helped them instead.

He had never been involved in war crimes.

  • @meshuganech You think that all the Nazis were horrible? They weren't. Only the ones who actually believed in the Nazi precepts were. It doesn't mean all of them agreed, but they were german citizens, and therefor had to fight for Germany

  • @acdcdude1015 psychologically... just .... ow

  • @acdcdude1015 not all GERMANS. nazis are part of the nazi party, ss, gestapo, etc.

  • @acdcdude1015 3. Adrien Brody's nose.

  • @acdcdude1015 So 0,0001% nazis wasn't evil jew hating rats

  • @acdcdude1015 #1 i agree because some jews were forced to do this to not be killed and #2 they obviously suffered if they survived the malnutrition and the frostbite and all that

  • Whose the beautiful cello piece in G major played at the beginning of this video? I've seen this movie many times (and I love it), and the same piece is also in the movie Master And Commander.

I always wanted to learn this piece on the guitar, but I need to find it to learn it.

  • @vampiroangelico, it's the Prelude from Bach's first Cello Suite, in G.

  • @JoannaMeier Thanks, it was kind of you to respond.

    I appreciated.

    :-)

  • My favourite scene was when they throw the old man in the wheelchair out the balcony. what? WHAT? You think i dont know cinema? i know cinema ok! (raises his chin, nostrils wide as a single tear rolls down his cheek) I freaking live cinema.

  • Who was more pissed? US Russia or Ally Europe?

  • this movie is so sad =(

  • which song is this that hes playing in the end?

  • @icomposethemusic i thing, not sure, but my guess would be BLACK DOG by john paul jones.

  • @chicuco84 Thank you :)

  • 1:54 He's thinking 'HURRY UP AND LEAVE SO I CAN PLAY THE FUCKING PIANO!'

  • I love his big nose.

  • @chocolateyum678 cause youre a faggot

  • @chocolateyum678 me too!
