  • I do a similar breakfast using quaker oats, grounded flax seeds, and whey protein. Instead of raw wheat germ I use Quinoa flakes. Amazing quick breakfast I'm addicted to.

  • @NauticTL Sounds like a good breakfast! Dan.

  • Listening to what is successful for others will not necessarily work for you. You must go on your own health quest. Listen to your body and allow yourself to live a lifestyle that is naturally suited to your own body and spirit. It is not diet alone! It is lifestyle that is the key to success! Some people can eat more carbs for example. If I use carbs I get fat. I eat more spinach and meat/eggs and digest far better and have more energy without the fat. Key is you are unique!

  • @MormonManUtah Whatever works for you! Dan.

  • this recipe is not simple at all wtf

  • @ProstigeWorldwide It sure is simple. Easier than cooking bacon and eggs and toast, and faster. Dan.

  • I'm 15 years old and I'm a vegan, I'm thinking of converting back to eating meat but I feel I'm gonna gain unneeded fat

  • @7i A Vegan diet for a growing young adult has the potential for certain health implications. Excess fat is caused by consuming more calories then you expend. Start with 8 ounces of raw milk every day for 14 days. Monitor your body fat. But I think you'll notice a BIG increase in strength and overall healthy feeling.

  • @7in Well to tell you the truth I'm not really a fan of milk in general, never really drank it before I turned vegan. Almond milk is great though. For some reason I feel stronger as a vegan then when I ate meat. Isn't that strange ?

  • @7in thats ok. There is no such thing as a diet or healthy way of living that is right for EVERYONE. You Do what make you feel and perform at your best no matter what someone else says is best for you. Dan.

  • @PRZYOJSKI alright, I think I'm gonna try eating raw meat now. I just visited my nutritionist and he told me to try it out

  • @7in kid you have an eating disorder. get some help.

  • @7in rofl 1 u need calories to gain muscle as well... if u go back to a normal diet like in the video ull be fine. look at them they eat meat and they are not "fat".

  • no disrespect but your not in shape enough to be giving advise on bodybuilding in general, i mean you seem healthyy enough but bodyduilding wise? i think not so tahts why theres so many people out there not getting results cuz of people giving advise on stuff like bodybuilding when you in fact dont look like someone whos doing bodybuilding 100% all day everyday........im just saying

  • @fujericho FYI, I'm a competitive bodybuilder with a regional and state title. I was not born with the genetics to do this. Check out my pic's in google image. BUT.... So what, all top bodybuilders have a coach for both nutrition and training and their coach's never won a Mr. Olympia title, some never even competed. Most Pro football coach's never played a day of professional footbal yet they teach others how to play! I've coached Olympic athletes, and weekend warriors. What have you done?

  • @PRZYOJSKI Ohhh snap. Hey man. I appreciate you giving your time and knowledge to people. I know many people who come to these sites and use this kind of info to get healthier. I just read 2/3rds of Americans are over weight now. So, for those hater who are leaving nasty, negative comments, don't watch this stuff. For those who want to get healthier, take all the advise you can get. As long it makes sense. Just remember, if it tastes good, it's probably bad for you.

  • @chrismontoya79 You are a level headed and thought provoking person. That's the first quality needed for success! Dan.

  • that guy looks out of shape...why would i listen to him?

  • he kills ALOT of good stuff when he microwaves it. ive seen up to 97% - im no scientist, but I stopped microwaving the nutrients out of my food as per my research

  • @devknob Ok I didn't know that. I always put the frozen vegetables in the microwave. Maybe I should bouil them instead. I don't have a steamer or something like that.

  • you don't train??

  • this guy just said clients...which would mean people pay him to control their physique.....yikes.

  • I WOULD NOT NUKE THE FLAX SEEDS....

  • can hardly tell what you're saying

  • what about eating whole eggs..Im getting sick of hearing people saying only eat egg white..I read plenty off bodybuiling artilcles that say eating whole eggs is good for buidling muscle

  • Yes, the whole egg is good or should I say better than just an egg white. If you are trying to lower the fat in a diet you use less yokes and more egg whites. Dan.

  • i personally stick to whole eggs year round fat intake should be high on a bulk and a cut

whites should only really be needed if your already taking in high amounts of fat elsewhere

  • thanks for the good advice..both of you guys

  • they are, but the daily allowance for cholestoral intake for an active adult male is 300 miligrams, and 1 egg yolk contains 212, so its like almost your entire days safe amount of cholestoral in one egg... 10 of them per day? heart attack at 40

  • I would never eat as much as 10 eggs per day. I stick to 3 or 4 every morning along with a bowl of complex carbs

  • i eat the same thing, oats and 4 eggs, but whites only, with the amount of chicken and beef I eat its a struggle to keep the cholestoral down. 4 egg yolks is too much (apparently - according my 'research', you know, web - search)

  • well from my research in bodybuilding mags..they say the cholesterol in eggs is healthy for you..idk. Are you eating lean cuts of meat? I train with heavy weights in the 6-10 rep range so I must eat alot of protein and carbs and fish oils

  • I am very similar, HIT for me 6 - 10 reps heavy heavy heavy and a constant supply of protein, every three hours a serving in the form of chicken breasts, LEAN cut of veal (fillet) or natural whey. I take all carbs from oats and rice (brown/ white). I dont take fish oils, maybe I should. I take a special organic supplement daily called FRUITEIN which is a multivitamin and super-anti-oxidant mix with vegetable protein, helps me top up the nutrients cos I dont like vegetables very much

  • We are very similar in training and dieting. The only difference is I dont eat veal. With my type of heavy lifting I supplement with of course protein, creatine and test

  • i cycle creatine as well, i have found it genuinely increases my anaerobic energy levels and is great for lifting power, especially with FG fiber activation 1 rep maximums, test like testosterone? I could never do it, Im too scared of the side effects, Im a big strong hypochondriac

  • Yes it sure does help get in those extra reps when you want to push the limit. It also helps me recover almost instantly after a hard workout. Yes I use testosterone but I make sure to monitor my dosages. The most important thing is that none of this would even matter if my diet and training werent on point..so that is what comes before everything else for me.

  • totally, of course, everything has to be right and then you juice it ONLY after the framework is in place, who knows maybe one day I will but right now I see steady gains (and im still scared!) so I will stick with what works for at least another 3 - 4 years. Good luck with your training

  • You NEVER JUICE it! Steroids are a part of the Physical CULT, not Physical Culture! There is a difference. Dan.

  • @bknives Do you want to be Mr.Olympia or ripped and healthy?

  • @fabien82 There's a lot of good stuff in the yokes. If you're going to use six eggs, cut out four or five of them. I'll guarantee the taste is still there.

  • you could add less water, minus the protein powder, then after the microwave add skim milk.

  • Yes, that would be good. There is no ONE right way, it's just a matter of doing it the way you will like or eat it. Dan.

  • did you say black seed, I know historically black seed has been used in the islamic and arab culture as a remedy for many illnesses. I've never tried it so hopefully I can with this meal.

  • out of ALL of the things that can kill you, im LEAST concerned with excess protein intake.

  • Very good insight! Dan.

  • 'Masai eat a traditional diet high in meat and dairy products raised under traditional wild foraging conditions. Weston Price said they were tall and strong and had good teeth and jaws. But are they healthy?'

There isn't a lot of data supporting milk and blood as being healthy for humans..

  • Br J Nutr. 2008 Jun;99(6):1335-43.

a more acidic diet is detrimental to bone health..high fruit and vegetable intake and lower consumption of meat was significantly associated with a more alkaline urine pH before and after adjustment for age, BMI, etc..In conclusion, a more alkaline diet, higher fruit and vegetable and lower meat intake were related to more alkaline urine with a magnitude similar to intervention studies.

  • eat 3000 calories and throw up about 500. that's how you get toned

  • Mostly acidifying, refined, fortified, processed products lumped together requiring opposing digestive processes.

The raisins (the only biochemically compatible food there) was a decent afterthought "for kicks to sweeten it up"

Entirely too much protein in terms of avoiding degenerative diseases such as cancer, osteoporosis, kidney stones, etc but it would help bulk you up. Weight bearing exercise following the ingestion could help remodel the bone damage from demineralization I guess..

  • Entirely too much protein in terms of avoiding degenerative diseases such as cancer, osteoporosis, kidney stones, etc

Sorry man, but there is no proof whatsoever that protein leads to that stuff. Yeah sure, there's studies that say vegetarians have more bone density than people who eat primarily meat, but there's also studies that say people who regularly drink protein shakes have more bone density than those who don't, even vegetarians, so what do you believe?

  • 'there is no proof whatsoever that protein leads to that stuff'

When protein intake exceeds about 95 grams per day, the body goes into negative mineral balance because of high acidity. With an intake of 140 gm, there is a mean loss of 60 mg of calcium per day, regardless of the amount of calcium ingested. Horne, CHAPTER 15 DIET AND NUTRITION

Harvey and Marilyn Diamond in Fit for Life, 'the human body recycles 70% of its proteinaceous waste and loses only about 23 g of protein a day.

  • so meat and dairy together are a good combo. u said dairy causes too much calcium

  • Good info, thanks. However, you do need some animal food in your diet, and I am not trying to criticize and vegetarians/vegans, that is a fact. Animal protein is THE ONLY source of trytophan, the precursor to seratonin, as well as B12. Also, go with grass fed meats. All of those studies that say the increased consumption of animal protein leads to cancer all probably used commercial, grain-fed meat.

  • Also, take a look at the Masai tribe. Their diet is 100% animal foods, with no plants whatsoever. Doctors did studies on them, and they had some of the lowest cholesterol levels, lowest risk of heart disease, cancer, and other diseases of any group of people on earth. Now, this was primarily in the young boys, who were very active. They said that these diseases increased with age, as they become less active. Of course, they ate natural meat, and not the kind we have here.

  • Br J Sports Med. 2008 Jun 3.

Several studies have revealed Masai have low rates of coronary heart disease despite a diet high in saturated fat.

Studies detailing other potential protective factors, however, are lacking.

The most conspicuous finding was the extremely high-energy expenditure, corresponding to 2565 kcal/day over basal requirements, Mean body mass index was lower. The potentially atherogenic diet was offset by very high energy expenditure levels and low body weight.

  • @Chrisisms Good point hahah.

  • clients?? this guy has clients? come on dude i was expecting someone bigger than me here, not a sissy 15inch arm and sissy pecs like u ...

  • I agree this is quite disappointing.

  • sup

  • Maybe you could post a video?

  • Comment removed

  • Cuz this guy is 50 yrs old and has more experience with health/diet/exercise than your average protein/roid whore. This guy is an all natural body builder, and he rehabilitated himself from a completely severed leg. He's tried and true.

  • @ZORGtheALIEN who the fuck told u to watch it in the first place??

  • @ZORGtheALIEN prick

  • @ZORGtheALIEN well he could have gone to college to be a trainer. trainers dont necessarily have to be muscular. its their knowledge that really matters

  • @ZORGtheALIEN lol

  • Great start for the morning! Dan.

  • my breakfast (same every day ) ;-)

    200g oatmeal

+ 3 spoons of myofusion chocolate protein

    + banana and

raisins or almonds ( depends on a day )

    loving it !!!

cook your oatmeal , add rest of the ingridients , dig in ;-)))

  • Great breakfast! Good choice of nutrients too! Dan

  • yea oatmeal is the shit

  • My breakfast-or preworkout shake.

    4oz plain non sweet yogurt

    4oz pure grape or oj

    half cup oats

2 tablespoon each wheat germ and ground flax

    third cup frozen blueberries

scoop whey protein powder or egg product

    2-3 ice cubes

Blend 20-25 seconds. Hit weights 90 minutes later.

  • Thanks for the info. Great breakfast, meal, or workout drink! I'm sure others can modify it to their taste. Dan.

  • Read the label dude-oatmeal, along with whole wheat, flax, wheat germ all have source of protein. Combined with whey-great healthy source.

  • not bad. how about some 1 sliced banana instead of the raisons & a tablespoon of peanut butter. That would work for me

  • That would work also! Good choice. Dan.

  • Why isn't this video 5 stars? And other videos posted by this man too? He gives so very sound and practical advices.

Just because he isn't 300 pound, sweaty bodybuilder, his advice isn't good? This guy looks fit, remember all those bodybuilders, while they look healthy, really, they are not!

And who gives a shit what T-Shirt he wears? Seriously, WHY would you care what T-Shirt this man is wearing? it looks clean and has nothing offensive written on it, that's all that matters.

  • THANK YOU! This video was made for rational, level headed people like you. People who seek the TRUTH when it comes to health & nutrition. But in the end I always hope to open the eyes of the blinded FOOLS who have SWALLOWED hook, line, and sinker, the New Age Physical Cult of Commercial Bodybuilding. They don't even realize they're being ripped off! Blind following the blind!

  • Before you post an ignorant comment you should at least know something about nutrition. Oatmeal has protein in it and it's complimented by the whey protein in the meal. You don't have a profile pic so everyone knows you're afraid to display your girlie body. You're just another big-mouth armchair wannabe bodybuilder!.

  • Why would you even waste your time replying to this guy???

Its a good idea for a recipe but man... why you going to kill some of the nutrients by nuking it on the microwave???? haha I just tend to add boiling water from the Kettle on top of cold milk and its good to go...

  • I agree, but some folks are so on the go that they won't take the time to boil water. It's just the way it is. So the quick cook recipe I posted is a much healthier alternative to cold cereal or a cold meal replacement drink. It's not for everyone, it's not supposed to be, but it works for some people. Dan.

  • i have noticed aswell this guy always wearin tshirts which are tight around his arms.... they are small as fuck he talks some shit...its a shame he is unaware how much of a penis he looks

  • Not sure where the tension is coming from, but I happen to like the shirt, hence my "super awesome" comment.

How you got any sort of negative gay connotations from that...I have no idea.

I was just poking a little fun at his belly.

  • By the looks of the gut underneath that super awesome purple shirt Dan has quite a few of these shakes on a daily basis.

  • His mid section is big and solid. Look at pics. He's ripped.

  • Then, I stand corrected.

  • ya but his waistline is also big

  • why are your sleeves always pulled up showing your arms ? Your arms are small.

  • this guy suks

  • ooo thanks senor ill go tomorrow to the super with my list thanks again !!!

  • Welcome. Dan.

  • hey man can you please write me down the ingredents because the audio its hard to understand it please man !!!

  • 1/2 cup oatmeal, 1 tablespoon flaxseed, 1 tablespoon raw wheatgerm, 2 tablespoons raisins or favorite fruit, 10 ounces of water, cook in microwave oven for 3 minutes. After cooking add 1 seving of favorite whey isolate or egg-white protein powder. Add extra water if the mixture is to hard. Add milk if you need more calories and nutrients. Dan

  • I have 1 and a half cups of oats, 2 yolks and 6 egg whites, a banana and a glass of high protein, low fat milk as well as two cups of water. I also have a fish oil pill and a multivitamin. Unfortunately I microwave the eggs but nobody's perfect.

  • What I tryed (really good taste) mix this up :

    1L milk

    3 eggs

    2 iced lollies

    3 TS sugar

    250 g pineapple

    1 banana

  • Looks good. I'm not to keen on the sugar but the meal is nutrient packed! Thanks. Dan.

  • Yeah right. And it tastes great !!!

  • nice breakfast idea and this is what I eat:

3 whole eggs + one banana + 1 cup milk + 3 tbs sugar + 2 scoops of protein powder(optional), I mix them all in a blender and drink at once.

that will last me till lunch.

  • Good recipe but not sure if I would recommend microwaving it all.

Microwaves destroy so much of the nutrients, etc.

  • this is true. Also, he should specify how fine the oats are cut, which will change how long they need to be cooked.

  • Hey dude , iam 16 years old .. and iam working out at a gym for body building and all .. but sometimes i can left up to 20 lbs ( bar , for chest ) and some times i can barely left up to 15 , does it depend on what iam eating , or iam not getting enough sleep or what ,u seem like an expert , thanx for helping :D:D

  • Sounds like a lack of nutritious food and calories to me. Without knowing your complete lifestyle i'm just taking a guess though. Dan. go to w.powerhealthproducts.c to find out more.

  • No, you're doing just normal, and quite good may I add it :). I've been bodybuilding for 5 years and I tell you it takes a shitload of time to become a pro, and when it comes to strength, I can assure you that your muscles are still growing and by the time you reach 20or so, you'll be stronger than ever. Just remember to always aranje time to go to the gym, eat healthy, and train daily during school terms (expecially to relief stress, trust me it helps a lot). Keep up the good work man. Ooha! :P

  • Thanks for the great info. I always like real informational comments like your's. I use whole flax seed because the seeds split open during cooking and release the oil. Great internal cleanser! Dan.

  • why water? because milk slows your absortion of protein,so , breakfast and shake after workout you MUST mix with water ,otherwise you slow down the whole process, and don't want that ,do we?

  • Skim milk has sugar in it and the amount of calcium you would get from the serving is not worth it. The protein powder should flavor the cereal. A person should learn to flavor foods with natural foods (raisins, strawberries, ect..) and choose higher nutrition foods and less processed foods. Dan.

  • could some of you write down the recipe? it is quite difficult to understand even with the volume at its highest. thanx

  • here's a tip: turn up the volume. Nice vid man.

  • here's a tip: People who comment on yotube videos are losers.

  • That makes you a loser.

  • Yes, I'm well aware of that. There in lies the joke. Get it?

  • joke at urself?

  • You got it ;)

  • rofl
